[QUOTE=gkd;n777459]To, gkd:- Sir, our son's Office has given his job related letter, issued by his HR Department. It has his salary and other job related details and the duration of the period that he has been working with them.Originally posted by gharya54 View PostTo,
SG2020 :- They would want the Petetioner's ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE or A CERTIFIED COPY. His passport photocopy, you may carry the Naturalisation Certificate, but they would not ask you for it. The passport is enough. His W2 and 1040 as Affidavit of Support as far as finance is concerned. A photocopy of the Company latter that he works for describing his designation and salary including perks. Yes, with his signature OR e-signature is OK.
With regards.[/QUOTE
gharya54 Good luck for the interview and thank you for your time sir. You have been such a valuable member. Can you please describe about company letter and is it petitioner signature required at the bottom?
No, the Petitioner is not required to sign this letter as his Office is issuing it to him with the signature and stamp of the HR personnel who is missing the letter.
With regards.

They will be interviewed together.Originally posted by Sumita1986 View PostBoth of my parents have interview at the same date and time.
will they be interviewed together? Do they need separate file with separate copy of each document required?
It depends on what will be easy for your parents.
Have individual folders for each of their original documents, clip the originals and the copies separately. One of the folders will have the marriage certificate.
Another folder with the common documents like Tax returns and W2
This will make it easy for them to hand over the documents.
Label the folders
This is only a suggestion.
Till now copies haven't been asked from anyone.

Post-interview question - We need to pay the $220 to USCIS to get the GC, but when we go to pay it on the USCIS website it asks for "Alien Registration Number" (A number) and case id. It says the consulate should have given it to you, but they didn't give it. They said it's all electronic and no package will be given. So, wondering if the visa stamped on the passport will have it? or will they give it at the port of entry. It's weird that this step is not well documented on their websites.

The number will be on the Visa. A information sheet is given at the end of the interview explaining the process of paying GC fees and where to find the Alien Registration number. Please wait until you receive your passport with Visa stamped on it.Originally posted by family_gc View PostPost-interview question - We need to pay the $220 to USCIS to get the GC, but when we go to pay it on the USCIS website it asks for "Alien Registration Number" (A number) and case id. HHi Sumita! No one on this forum has been asked to show the petitioner's original birth certificate and marriage certificate so far. Do you have the time to mail them? So I don't think you need to carry but others here might differ.Originally posted by Sumita1986 View PostPlease help, an urgent question:
Do my parents need to take the original of MY birth certificate and marriage certificate too for the interview?
Do I have to mail these to them from the US?
