PERM processing time

Hi All,

My PD was 10/12/2009. My lawyer got the approval email on 20th May 2010.

I applied in EB2. I think in my case it took 7 months and seeing the trend the pace is increasing. All the Best for people who are waiting.

Can anybody lemme know how long will it take to receive the approval notice in hand. I heard nowadays, it is taking more time. Please help me with your valuable inputs.

Received mail today from employer saying its approved.

My company has recently announced that being taken over by another company. Legally its not yet done, will take few weeks. So I am not sure whether they will continue or not.

Hmmmm...I just got an e-mail from my attorney that my PERM application got auto denied does anybody know any thing about auto denials?

I am not sure but if there is any discrepancy in the application, for example: Let's say your position wanted a 5-7 yrs of experience and you had 4 yrs, I believe it is this kind of discrepancy that can lead to an auto-denial. Sometimes, it may be fault of the Govt in understanding the requirements of the position. Check with your attorney, Good luck!!!
