Eb2 LC Processing Month at Atlanta Center

Hi All,
What is the current EB2 processing month at Atlanta Centre. I saw few certifications from Atlanta center, but most of them are EB3, just curious about whats happeing with EB2....

I got an email from the attorney that my PERM got approved. Mine was filed in Jan '10 and got approval via attorney this month June'10.

Anyone know how long it will take for the DOL Atlanta to send the certified/approved PERM to the attorney? And how long it takes for the I-140 process?

Hi meralum,

That's the recorded dialog from all the attorneys. Don't ask them for an access to that website.

First ask them for your PERM case number (They will definitely give the right case number, knowing that you can't check the status anywhere by yourself.)

After getting the case number, ask them take a look at your case on the website I posted and send you the screen shot of your case (and verify whether it is your case).

You can clearly see what status your case is. Do this twice a month.

Just got an email from my attorney that my certification has been approved.
Center: Atlanta
Priority date: 2/10/2010
LC approval date: 6/8/2010
Category: EB3.

Was actually expecting around July / August, but happy to get it sooner.

Applied 1/31/2010 in EB3 (Atlanta, but not sure).
Certified on 6/7/2010 (courtesy email)

Any idea how long it takes to receive the actual approval notice?

Where was your applied? Mine is in Nebraska and was applied in Dec 2009.

My PD was 10/12/2009. My lawyer got the approval email on 20th May 2010.

I applied in EB2. I think in my case it took 7 months and seeing the trend the pace is increasing. All the Best for people who are waiting.

Can anybody lemme know how long will it take to receive the approval notice in hand. I heard nowadays, it is taking more time. Please help me with your valuable inputs.

Once again appreciate your response and I emailed the attorney and immigration team in the company and they gave me a canned response.. I will ping them again to check on the status of my application. I do have a case number that was provided to me..

Mine was filed in Atlanta (But mine was in October 2009). Give it 5 to 7 months. Most of the cases filed in Jan 2010 is getting approved now. If your's is filed in Jan 2010 or before and thro' Atlanta, I think you shud be getting it anytime, if it is not audited.

For checking the status of the PERM, you can't do it on your own. But your attorney or employer can do it by logging into the following website. It will have the status (Pending, Certified, Denied (Not likely), Audited etc.) for your case.

Thanks for this information, I will check with my immigration attorney.. for some reason this immigration attorney (a very big firm) keeps saying that it's taking 12 - 18months for approval.

How long is it taking for the Atlanta DOL to approve PERM's and is there any way to check the status of pending applications?

Hello all,
Our HR department folks called me today (05/26/2010) and informed that my Perm application has been approved. I applied on 12/01/2009 under EB2 category. In all I was in line for about 6 months.

Miles to go before I rest!!! Cheers guys!!! Good luck to all...
