        Hi dilemma
I have same problem like you. I got 221g green slip on 1 dec. 2011. I submitted all docs on dec 15th 2011. Embassy guy came to my office on 1st week of April. After that no updates from Embassy.
Do you get any update from Embassy.

          Guys,

I had h1B interview on 15th Dec 2011 at new delhi and got 221G green form requesting for client details and the passport was returned to me along with all the docs at the time of interveiw , submitted the docs on 1st Feb 2012 , got mail from them on march 9th requesting for the client letter mentioning the intension to make use of me, 129 , 797 , lca and the petiton application .

i have submitted docs on April 3rd and today got mail from them that.

your case has been returned to the Kentucky Consular Center in the United States. You may contact the USCIS office for further information. Please consider this case closed at their office and a refusal letter was sent to you on April 19, 2012

Seems like my visa is refused. Mine is geninue case and it's an EC relationship.

hope you all get visa approved.

          Thanks

            Hey Sudhakar,
Thanks for sharing your case with us.
My personal opinion is, sometimes USCIS reaffirm the case and send it back to the consulate. but that takes long time..!!
            Good luck Sudhakar..!!

                @VYTLA

dont loosee hope.. you can always get a new application in and reapply for the visa... just make sure you dont take that long to submit the documentation.

                best of luck bro.

Hi..I have also completed 6 months of my India stay. I went for my first visa interview on 14 Dec 2011. Visa officer (lady with dark complexion..could be Indian) interviewed me and screwed me a lot with tons of questions. Later she gave me a paper to read and sign that. That paper has all the answers I gave to her questions and then she kept my passport along with all other documents and said your's case is bit complicated and I need to verify.(no Green Slip was given to me). After couple of weeks, I got an email from VFS having this green slip attached and asking me to submit couple of documents(had already given to VO). I submitted at VFS Nehru Place and at the End of Feb I received my passport along with denial letter. In April, my employer sent me a n email that my I-797 is re-affirmed and I can go for another interview. I went for second interview in may and the VO asked me the same set of questions , gave me the paper to sign and at the end she gave me the green slip to submit the documents what I had already submitted along with those documents that my employer sent to USCIS to get my case re validated. Funny thing is my employer never received any notice and did't submit any additional document. I talked to my employer and I was told that once US embassy denies the visa , they send back the case to USICS to invoke the visa and during this meantime USCIS again confirms(if it is genuine case)..then they re- affirm the case and send I-797C. (seems VO was not aware of this process and was bit sarcastic to me)..so still waiting to hear from them....

the vo is aware of every thing .. but it looks like 221g is now a standard procedure for the consulates in India .,,especially for consultants .
                    '
'also remember per law .. no matter how many time uscis approves the h1b .. if you go to the embasy the VO can send the case back for admin processing that is his jurisdiction and he can do what he feels is ok.

personally i think the consulates in india have been asked by the us gov to tighten the immigrant inflow and hence this is realyed down the food chain to the VO. the VO's are only following orders . and in the process we are baring the brunt of it.

                      Hey,
Sorry to hear about your case, In my case i am still waiting without any rejection (case not sent back to USCIS so far....). i "assume" my case is still with the embassy level even after employer verification done by USCIS officers on 29 th feb.12, which was pretty smooth..! passport is also with them..!
                      Good luck
                      Regards
