Hi,
First of all thanks for this wonderful forum to ask any questions or doubt about visa.
I am a student in US and my husband is an employee (H1 full time job) in USA. We are applying visitor visa for my sister and her son. The purposes of visa is tourism as well as attend my P.hD graduation. My parents who already have a visa will be accompanying her. My husband will be the main sponsor as her earns much more than me. My question is :
1) Should I apply for visa for my sister and my nephew together or separate? Do my nephew has to there during visa interview (he is 4 year)
2) I checked that for kids under 14 years of age , drop box facility can be used?
3) If we are using drop box facility? What document do we need? All I know is parents passport, visa, DS160 form and other supporting documents?
4) My sister's husband is not travelling with sister, as didn’t get leave from job? He doesn't have a passport or visa, but he will be giving a consent letter. Will that be enough?
5) As my sister is travelling without her husband will that be an issue? My parents will be travelling with her to attend my graduation?
6) Any suggestion you have for me?
Regards
Aman
