Hi,
I am a graduate student in US. I will graduate in July and want to invite my parents for my graduation ceremony in August. I have few questions. Any help will be grately appreciated :-)
1. Both my parents are employed with total of 10L yearly salary. They will show property papers and about 10L in bank. My brother is also studying in US, one year left in his Masters. My parents will show loan papers covering his tuition. Are these finances enough?
2. My cousin who works in US on a green card can sponsor my parents. He is my third cousin. Any disadvantage if they show him as a sponsor.
3. My university does not issue invitation letter to parents for visa purposes. So, all I have is the letter that I will write to consulate and certification letter from university which says that my expected graduation date is July 2010. Is this enough, or do I need more documents?
Thanks,
NJ
