H1B petition was Reopened For Reconsideration
Hi,
H1B petition was filed for me in 2008 and there was RFE for it. More evidences were submitted with in the dead line. In 2009, my sponsor cancelled all the H1B petitions filed in 2008. My petition current status (updated in July 2009) is "Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number WAC0815251480, and are reconsidering our earlier decision. We sent you a notice that describes how we will process your case."
I understand i have to look for a sponsor again to file a H1B, my question is "Will i go through the lottery once again".

Is it acceptable to apply for IWP at a consulate abroad from within the USA?
I am on an H1B in Seattle, and eligible for the IWP in Canada.
Can I submit my passport via FedEx (or some other provider) to the Vancouver consulate and get the stamp back without leaving the country? Would appreciate any guidance/experiences. Thanks!

H1b, 221g for client letter verification @Hyd consulate
Hello,
I had my first h1b interview(f1 to h1) on Dec 13. After basic questions, VO asked me for client letter and I gave it to her. She gave me 221g and told me that my case is in administrative processing and she need to verify the client letter and passport returned. On Dec 21, my manager received email from the consulate and he responded on the same day. Since then there is no update. Did anyone experienced the same recently or know how long it will take for the consulate to respond.

Change in exchange rate after visa fee payment
Hi, I have H1 and H4 dropbox scheduled on Mar 28. I paid MRV fee earlier and was waiting for a slot. Now that slot is available exchange rate is changed. There is a difference of about INR 760. Could someone please advise how this difference is handled? I don't see any information anywhere.
Also,I selected Chennai consulate which has three dropbox locations- Kochi, Chennai, Bangalore. Does that mean I can go to one of these locations at scheduled time?

221G Client letter verification Hyd consulate
I gave my first time h1b interview(f1 to h1) at Hyd consulate on Dec 13. After basic questions, VO took my client letter and handed me 221g white slip and told me that she need to verify it. Passport returned. My manager received email from the consulate on Dec 21 and he responded on the same day. Since then there is no update. Did anyone experienced the same recently and know how long it will take for the consulate to respond?

I appeared for H1B Visa interview @ Hyderabad consulate on February 24,2020.
VO, asked for some basic questions , employer profile ,location & salary details.
Later handed over a 221g white slip with(i.e. A letter from US Chamber of Commerce or other NAM related entity) passport back(Case Created:23-Feb-2021 and it is showing as refused).
After some follow-ups with hydadmin, On Sep 29,2020, I got an email from Hyderabad consulate to submit passport and I submitted through drop box on October 4, 2021.
After that they called me and asked to send LCA, Project Description and Client/vendor documents (if any) to [email protected], which I did(I mailed the requested documents).
My passport returned without stamping and got the new 221g white slip(Your application requires additional administrative processing before a final decision can be made).
but after a week CEAC site shows as refused again(Case Last Updated:05-Oct-2021).
I was following up with them every month but the same response that it is under administrative processing and will take some time.
If anyone had same issue before please reply.

Change from H1B sponsoring employer A to a new Employer B on same fiscal year when selected in Lottery
Is it Ok to Change from H1B sponsoring employer A to a new Employer B on same fiscal year when selected in Lottery? Started working for Employer A with Change of status to H1B for 2-3 months and getting better opportunity from Employer B. I heard somewhere that if employer A withdraw the petition, you will become subject to CAP even after Employer B, H1B is approved based on already selected in CAP from employer A. Do we need to work for sponsoring employer for entire Visa fiscal year I mean until September? before attempting to change employer.

My wife has to go for H4 Visa Dropbox. Question is, Will it be okay if she can go for Dropbox with H1 Approval Notice (I-797) document as H4 filed petition was Invalid now (Currently she is in India) OR she has to go only Visa Interview with H1 Approval Notice.

H1B Petition Revoked
Hi Team ,
I had my H1B visa from my previous company which was picked up in 2019. I travelled to US for a period of 6 months but had to come back to India due to personal reason.
During this period , I had switch to new Organization and now when I see on USCICS site I can see that my petition has been revoked.
Does that mean that my H1B has gone forever or is still there is any hope?
