Shall I apply for H4 EAD extension when H4 extension is in process?

My H1B extension got approved and H4 extension is in process, but in couple of month H4 EAD is getting expired. Please let me know if I can apply H4 EAD extension when H4 extension is in process.

Surprisingly fast H4 extension with H4 EAD
Applied for H1 extension (Premium) + H4 extension + H4 EAD - Together on May 12th.
H1B got approved in May 23rd.
H4 Visa got approved on August 15th.
H4 EAD got approved on August 18th and received physical EAD copy on August 22nd.
Happy to get the EAD as the current one was about to expire.

H4 EAD extension 540 days
HI ALL,
My current H1,H4 and H4EAD stamped visa is expiring on 09/15/2022. If I file H4EAD extension before expiry date would applicant qualify/eligible for 540 days of extension, as per latest guidelines from USCIS H4EAD automatic extension of 540 days.

Will the H4 EAD application under review by USCIS remain valid if my spouse is not H1B status for short period of time?
My H4EAD application (based upon approved i140 for my H1B spouse) is currently pending with USCIS and was filed in Dec 2021. My spouse is planning to leave his current employment and move to our country till the time our EAD gets approved and then find another job in USA at later time once the EAD is approved. Since by doing this he will no longer be in H1B status, will USCIS continue to adjudicate the EAD application on its' merit or will it be rejected or invalid because of the loss of H1B status. Both me and my spouse will not be in US during this time.

H4 EAD
Hi all,
My L2 and EAD renewal is in process, my i94 has expired.
Application was received by USCIS in Sep 2021. If approved I will have L2 EAD till Dec 2023.
My husband’s H1B and i140 is also approved, but we didn’t switch to H1B yet thinking L2 EAD approval is quicker than H4 EAD process.
Now I’m contemplating if it’s better to switch to H4 instead of waiting for L2 EAD. At least H4 EAD is valid for longer than L2 EAD.
But I have a few questions if any of you could share your thoughts and experience, it would be great
1. If we switch to H1B, do I have to first file H4 and then file for H4 EAD?
2. What are the current processing times for H4 EAD?
3. If we switch to H1B, and travel overseas do we need a H1B stamp to re-enter the US? If so, do we qualify for Dropbox appointments?

H4 visa stamped while H4 and H4-EAD in process
My H4 & H4- EAD renewal applications were filed in August 2021 and still in process. Mean while I had to travel and got an H4 visa stamped in Canada earlier this month.
