I have been to US on a J1 visa for an internship. Can someone please help with the question that Does such internships count as "work"?
Basically, I am trying to prepare for my L1 interview, and looking for the answer to question, "Have you previously worked in US?"

L1A individual - Premium process
Hi All,
I have received RFE yesterday on my Visa process ongoing.
Trying to collect all the requested details. Is getting RFE is normal now a days? Will it impact anytime my Visa process. Also, do update the Possibilities of getting L1A individual ( Premium) Visa approved.

L1B Visa Interview in Mexico on an Indian passport
Gentelmen,
I am on L1B visa working in US for my parent company since sept 2018 and my Visa is going to expire in August 2019 , so i am planning to visit Mexico for my new L1B blanket visa. What you guys recommend , should i go to India for visa interview or Mexico?

L2 Dependents Visa Stamping in Mumbai/India
I had kept all the documents. My husband had dropbox his visa stamping and next day we had Interview Appointment. So i kept his visa stamping receipt . Interviewer just asked for passport and DS-160 confirmation page. she didn't ask single question and Said congratulations, your visa is approved.
Note - If your kids are less than 2 years you will get early entry.

L1A-i129 related - Vancouver
Hi,
I finished my L1A interview today ( April 25th) at Vancouver and it's successfull , after the interview the VO didn't gave me the signed I129 form , will I get along with the passport ??? I have realised this after the leaving the usics building.... Has anyone have any experience before attending L1A interview in Vancouver, Canada.??? Kindly clarify !!!

L1A Blanket Interview in Toronto - Approved
Thanks for this forum that helped me during the preparation of my L1A visa interview. Thus, I would like to share my experience.
1. I had my L1A interview last Wednesday on April 17th at 8am in Toronto US Consulate.
2. Security check -> handed my interview booking information -> Officers checked me in on the ipad -> Waited in line for Intake and Scanning.
3. Intake & Scanning: The officer took all my materials and returned me unnecessary materials. She gathered I-129S form, our firm's I-797 form, and petition letter. Asked me to pay at another window and come back to this window after payment. She gave me a green sheet for the payment details.
4. Payment: Paid Fraud Detection and Prevention Fee at Window 1. Took the receipt to Intake & Scanning window. The officer put all my materials in a blue folder and handed to me.
5. Interview: Waited in line for the interview. And the following are my questions:
a. What is your title in US? - My Title.
b. What is your salary in US? - $ZZZ,ZZZ plus other benefits.
c. Do you have hiring and firing authority? - Yes.
d. How many reportees do you have in US? - 20.
e. Do you have impact on the strategic decision for the firm? - (I could not hear clearly this question and asked the officer to repeat). Then I answered "Yes. I identified business opportunities etc. ". (The officer cut me off with no more details).
f. How much budget authority do you have? - 1 million USD.
The officer looked at his screen and my passport and typed. He said that "You seemed to have many US visas before?". I said "Yes, I studied in US".
Then he typed and started writing on my I-129S form. Then he handed the files to me and said that "Your visa has been approved. It will be delivered to the address within 3-5 business days. "
Hopefully this experience could be helpful!

L1B Blanket Interview in Chennai- Approved
First I would like to thank you all contributors of this forum, which helps new applicants.
I had my L1B- Blanket interview earlier this week alongwith my spouse and kid. I would try to make some simple points below what I experienced-
1. There is no point in reaching the consulate before exact appointment time, else you need stand within a big queue outside. And trust me the weather in summer is very rough specifically for kids.
2. If planning for L1B and have family, get your family including kids- You can skip lot of queues , which will preserve your energy for actual interview
3. Be calm, smiling and confident in what you are saying.
4.Now most importantly- Specialized skills question- Don’t ever talk on any technology , acronyms, architecture etc. VO is non-technical person and if he/she doesn’t understand what you do or your tools does, chances of refusal is almost certain. You need to briefly describe, same way you do to your mother :)
4. Overall Experience, organisation brand, salary, no of years of associations with your organisation is very important to justify- How you gained the specialised skills.

when we stepped in lady sitting said to arrange the documents-

I am working for an IT company ( MNC) at Chennai- India. My employer processed L1A blanket last year and that got rejected with reason ( I.e, Clearly not approvable).Then again I was processed with H1b and that also not picked in lottery selection.
Now at present I'm processed with L1A individual ( Premium) and got to know through status tracker that I was sent with RFE ( not recieved details yet and expecting to get by next week) by USCIS .
My question is :
1. Will the USCIS know about my past Visa processed histories and rejections.
2. By considering those 2 Visa rejections in the past time , will they approve this time by considering this I a correct type of Visa.
