DS-160 Correction: Impact to already scheduled appointment
Hi All,
I have a scheduled appointment for H1B/H4 stamping in Toronto however there is minor mistake in spouse DS-160 (People travelling with you got duplicated, not sure why). Can I submit another DS-160 and take it to the interview along with the original DS-160. Any inputs will be helpful. Dont want to cancel the appointment and schedule a new one as dates are only available in may 2022.

Regular appointment for L1 in July / Aug in Ottawa
Dear All - Does anyone have regular L1 appointments scheduled for in Ottawa in July and August? I recently heard that someone had a regular appointment 2 weeks back. Curious to see if Ottawa has opened up and honoring regular appointments.

L1 visa appointment in Vancouver cancelled
Hi All
My wife had a L1 visa appointment scheduled for August 9 in Vancouver. She was planning to travel to Canada (from India) this weekend but we just went back into the visa appointment portal and the appointment was gone. She didnt even receive an email. We called the Vancouver embassy this morning and they said they've cancelled all regular appointments for August.
We are so lost and dont know what to do.
Has anyone had a similar experience and know of any options we might have?

Automatic Visa Revalidation (AVR) - Does it apply for F1 to H1B change of status?
Hi! My husband got his H1B in October 2020 after being on F1. He was supposed to get his stamping done in June 2021 in Canada but his appointment got cancelled. The next appointment we were able to get is for March 2022. So he has not been able to get his H1B visa stamped in his passport. I was wondering if he would be able to travel to Canada for less than 30 days and return to the US without having a H1B visa stamp in his passport using Automatic Visa Revalidation (AVR). He has a Canadian PR so he is allowed to travel to Canada but we are unsure about him being able to return. Would really appreciate any help/advice. Thanks!

Regular H1B appointment got cancelled
I got an email, today regarding cancellation of my regular H1b appointment at Calgary consulate which was on Aug 17th.
I am currently in US and my visa interview was for H1b renewal.
Can I till travel to Canada and make expedited appointment when I reach there?
Also can I travel to Canada and return within 30 days on an expired h1b visa if my expedited appointment does not get approved?

Did any receive an email from Canadian consulate saying the August visa appoint will be rescheduled? Does this mean it is cancelled or they will reschedule it for me?
I got an email today from Calgary office saying that my appointment in Aug will be rescheduled. Does it mean it is a cancellation? I am applying L1 visa and I am lost....

Calgary EA approved then canceled due to physically in Canada
I submitted an EA request to the Calgary embassy then got approved. New appt is scheduled for August. Just now I received an email saying they will cancel it because I am not physically in Canada. Also they will require 14-day quarantine even Canadian Federal government has canceled this mandatory requirement.

Hi! I plan to request an EA at Vancouver location. In addition to submitting the request in website system, do I need to send an email to the embassy at the same time? I saw someone did that for Calgary location <[email protected]>. Can anyone share the email address for Vancouver location? Thanks!
