I have a masters and PhD in chemical engineering. The lady at the interview was pretty nice. But told me that further administrative processing is required. This is my second 221G (got one during my PhD and was cleared in 3 and half weeks)

Regular line of questioning by VO. He looked thru all my docs and in between asked abt my highest level of education twice. Finally he returned all my docs including passport and handed me a blue slip. Marked an email id asking me to mail my I129 form to that. Sent the doc on same day and recd acknowledgement. Since then no update. This is my H1 renewal after my employer change.

I was interviewed at Mumbai consulate on 1 Dec 2014 and submitted my docs on 6th Dec 2014. I haven't got any replied yet, Mine case is possible of TAL due to pharmaceutical background and my client is bio-pharmaceutical.
No update as of today (26 Jan 2015)....keep you posted if something change.

I attended the H1-B visa interview on 15th Jan, 2015, and was given a 221(g) slip stating 'Further Review' on it. The consular got all my H1-B related original documents and original Masters degree Certificate, returned my passport back and said to hear back from the consulate within 2 weeks time frame.
The status date updated twice and now it shows 23rd Jan, 2015.
