Aug 28th - VO issued 221g blue slip & requested me to email additional documents(Client letter, original documents as filed with USCIS). He kept my passport & told no need to visit consulate again. I JUST HAVE TO EMAIL PDF DOCUMENTS.
Sep 15th - Received back passport With one more copy of 221g blue slip with this point checked->"Your application requires additional administrative processing"
Sep 26th - Emailed all requested documents. Received an automated reply saying they have received my email & will start processing my case upon receipt of the documents.
I JUST EMAILED ALL THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS. I DID NOT EMAIL THE DOCUMENT SUBMISSION LETTER. I DID NOT NOT SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS AT VFS SINCE THE VISA OFFICER NEVER TOLD ME TO DO SO.

Interviewed 30th November, F1 renewal. Been in the States for 5 years, did my B.S in bioengineering and started my M.S in Bioinformatics.
Was called by the embassy later that day to send in my resume, it was received the same day.
No updates since then. CEAC still says AP, with the latest update being the interview day.
Passport tracker gives 'no status update available'
mydashboard on traveldocs says 'document deliver information: ' in the last box, with no more information.
I assume this is a TAL check. Classes start soon so this wait is pretty stressful.

i have attended interview on 13th Nov at Toronto, Canada along with my Husband for L1 Processing. My Husband's L1 Visa got approved. For my Case VO has requested for Resume. We have submitted the resume on 14th Nov but haven't received any update since then.
Received confirmation on 30-Dec and my visa is approved now. it took almost 5-6 weeks for administrative processing.

I gave F1 renewal interview on Nov 25 2014. I am a fifth year PhD student and came India to renew my visa after my 4 year visa expired (which was issued to me after 221(g) processing in 2010). After a minute of interview, the officer is said everything is fine but I need to answer few more questions and directed me to another window. There I was given a white slip requesting documents like resume, research summary etc. I submitted documents next day and waiting since then. I work in data science and machine learning related fields and have an excellent research and academic record.
She asked me about my research field which is Machine Learning and then verified if I work on Robots. I said no and then she typed something on computer. I think its a TAL check.

My interview was on 24th Nov 2014 but my case was created before i went for the interview on 21st Nov . Visa officer asked me why i am heading to * university, I told her. she asked for my Gre scorecard,i gave it to her.she didnt ask me any other question and said that there is no problem with my visa application but it needs administrative review before they make a final decision . She gave me blue slip with reference number and took my passport . My course commencement date is 7th Jan 2015. I have to reach the university at least a week before Jan 7. I got a mail from them on 26th Nov and I replied on the same day. since then ,no status is updated . When i called the embassy ,they told me that it takes max 60 days depending on the case . how long it would take for my case.If it takes more than a month, i have to lose a semester .
