221(G) Tracker

Hi All, I attended H1B VISA interview on 26th Sep and VO issued 221g white slip asking following docs in PDF format. 1.Copy of Emp contract agreement signed by me and petitioner 2.Project Description My VISA status shows "Administrative Processing"

My interview was on 24th Nov 2014 but my case was created before i went for the interview on 21st Nov . Visa officer asked me why i am heading to * university, I told her. she asked for my Gre scorecard,i gave it to her.she didnt ask me any other question and said that there is no problem with my visa application but it needs administrative review before they make a final decision . She gave me blue slip with reference number and took my passport . My course commencement date is 7th Jan 2015. I have to reach the university at least a week before Jan 7. I got a mail from them on 26th Nov and I replied on the same day. since then ,no status is updated . When i called the embassy ,they told me that it takes max 60 days depending on the case . how long it would take for my case.If it takes more than a month, i have to lose a semester . What should i do. whats the reason for giving me 221g. When i checked my appointment history ,my visa type was business/tourist but I'm student

I received passport with 10 years visa with in 2 days after i sent my resume

VO asked client name however my project is in-house and routed to another indian lady. She inquired all about me and my projects & client of my US petitioner but not convinced as she is expect project documentation. Finally, first VO hand over blue and ask me to submit project details. On 26th sep, my attorney sent all the documents and got acknowledgment mail however not getting any response till now And finally got my approved stamp on 19thNov.

Got 221 g on 11/13, submitted documents on the next day. This is my 2nd AP, first one (as F1) got cleared in > 35 days. 19th DEC 2014 4PM: got email to submit passport 22nd DEC 2014: submitted passport; CEAC tracking link was showing AP with status update date of 11/13/2014 23rd DEC 2014: status update date changed to 12/23/2014 but was showing AP 24th DEC 2014: Status changed to issued in the morning around 11AM, got email from consulate to collect passport at 3 PM 26th DEC 2014: collected passport It takes 4-5 working days to get your visa stamped, so plan accordingly.

No documents were kept by consular. No email received so far. Status date doesn't change still shows same as interview date. Initial status date : 12th Nov /2014 recent change in status date : 11th Dec 2014 but it still remains in AP. on the same day received a mail to submit my passport. Passport submitted on 12-Dec-2014 Status changed to issued on 17-Dec-2014 Received passport on 19-Dec-2014 I wish everyone on this forum good luck for their 221g processing.

I've been to visa interview on 10th dec and i was given a blue slip asking for extra documents like resume, letter of invitation, contact person details in U.S and previous travel history. now, its already been a week, how long will it usually take for this kind of processing?

Attended interview on dec 1st at chennai,VO asked just 2 questions. Employer and client. then asked about my masters univ in usa then gave the yellow slip to wait at lobby. after waiting 30 min, got call from VO and he provided the blue slip with additional admin process required. during this whole process VO didnt check single document. im still in confusion how do they do admin process with out having any of my documents. WEIRD. finally waiting...........waiting.........

Visa Stamped...got Email after 65 days of document submission.
