Question about update an Status
Hi everybody
my wife ( US Citizen ) and me went for adjustment of status marriage interview
On May 23 . The interview took like 20 mins and at the end the officer said she need to
Review our cause to be able to make decision . We asked how long approximately
It will take and she said she don't know , maybe a day or weeks or month or two
Months that sounds weird to us !!! And after interview day till now 27th May , there
Is no update on my status like " interview is done " or something new .It still say " interview is scheduled
For May 23." Dose anyone have a same experience to share with us ? Or is that mean
The interview didn't go well ? We appreciate your answers . Interview was at Long Island NY

On May 25 my status change to "case was approved" Is there anything to wait like I saw others status to "card being produce" or "card mailed" do I need to wait for that kind of update too? I've been waiting for 1 year and 7 months now but atleast my case has improvement. Thank you in advance! :)

Almost 3weeks post-interview no update Chicago Field Office
Hi Everyone, I'm hoping to get some feedback from my fellow
Chicago filers. We had our interview on 5/9--AOS based on marriage to a USC. It was very short and to the point and all seemed to go well. Our IO said we had so much evidence with our application so she didn't even need to look at the new ones we brought. We went through our wedding album and traded stories with our IO about our families and hers. Very casual, light hearted conversation. Well, at the end, she said she would look through the file one more time and approve it in the system and we should expect the 10yr GC in 2-3weeks (we've been married for 2yrs plus). Since then, there has been no update online to both our I-485 and our I-130. One thing I found a little weird though is that the IO said the I-130 approval will come from Nebraska Service Center when our case originated from the NBC with receipt # starting with MSC. Totally confused. Any Chicago experience would be most helpful.

Thank you?

Expedite advance parole
hello all, does anyone have any experience of expediting advance parole.my PD is feb 3rd but had an RFE so with the "clock reset" I am technically on day 31' my 18 year old daughter is currently in university in the UK and has had a leg injury that is going to require surgery in the next three weeks ( had to wait for her exams to finish) so my questions are 1. Does this class as an emergency situation as we have no other family there and she will be in hospital for a week and 2. If it qualifies how long does it take to rush through emergency travel?

Interview Complete Sacramento CA Field Office
AOS Marriage Based
PD: November 7th 2016
Interview : May 26th 2017 ( Today )

We arrived at 7:40am our appt. was scheduled for 8:00am . it was just me and my husband and another you couple around our age (26) . we waited about 15 minutes and at exactly 8 the IO came out and called my name. She introduced herself and told us we would be meeting in her office. She swore us in and asked us for our passports and my work permit. she had our file on her desk open i could see our pictures that we had sent in with our application. She asked me all the yes/no questions After looking at our documents she looked up and gave us a smile and asked us how we met , we told her in high school I was 16 and he was 14 and she said that was the exact age she had met her husband too and she said you are going to have a long marriage . she looked through our pictures and asked who a couple were and she took 2 pictures( family one and one on my recent birthday ) out. She asked why we lived with my parents and we told her we are trying to save up to buy a home she said that must be a big help. She asked my husband what he did for a living, he is a baker and she said her daughter also worked in a similar position so they talked about that. I gave her all the documents for evidence , Insurance together, savings account, receipts for trips , and our 2016 taxes . I also gave her my updated medical exam , she was surprised when i said i brought my updated exam with the new test added . she said i didn't even know there was a new test added and she laughed . She said " I appreciate you being so organized and making this so easy for me you have given me a great start to my friday " she said she didn't feel like she was missing anything and that everything looked good and told me about the 2 year green card. she said that she would go over my application one more time to see if she needed anything else and will try to get it done by today but that if she didnt she would work on it within the next few days . we told her thank you and as she walked us out she said " enjoy guys and congratulations: and smiled at us .

you can never be too organized so make sure you take the time to get all your documents together

the whole interview took about 10 mins not once did it feel like we were being interrogated it felt like a friendly conversation I could not have asked for a more friendly IO and I thank god for choosing her to do our interview

As we were having breakfast at 8:51 i checked online and it said : new card is being produced"!!! and my I30 changed to " Interview complete and case must be reviewed"
I tried to look on here to see if anyones i30 changed to that after interview and i got to page 26 and didn't find it or must have passed

Thank you for taking the time to read my experience and don't lose hope as god has already worked out everything for you just trust in him and be patient.

Thank you for everyone that posted on here and gave me advice from the bottom of my heart I appreciate it Thank you

Finally got my EAD!
Hey y'all I just picked up my EAD from my lawyer's office in Queens. OMG! Its about dam time. Lol. I was going to my mailbox everyday, looking like a crackhead, wondering if my EAD arrived. Lmao. Come to find out, my lawyer's secretary told me yesterday that it had been at her office since Tuesday. I was like "What the h***"? I was about to drop dead; then I realized I had no health insurance, so I had to stay alive and endure the agony of being over-stressed and freaking out. Omg...these muther 'peep' about to raise my blood pressure from 0 to a thousand. But I'm ok and so, so thankful to the Almighty God, who heard my prayers and neither sleeps nor slumbers. I praise him because ALL things could not have been possible without HIM. Guys, I know this process can be very stressful, but I say to you, if you trust God and don't really think about checking your status; I mean don't obsess about it and let the process take its course, everything will work out in your favor. Just thank God that HE is working behind the scenes for you. Like I always say and I'm NOT going to stop saying it 'Trust God In This And Watch Miracles Happen'. God bless you all, I wish good luck, and I will keep you posted. I'm out. Victoria! Xoxo ;)
