Anyone experience delays in receiving the initial receipt from USCIS (Chicago lockbox)? I am now waiting for about 6 weeks for just the receipt and checks have not been cashed either.

9/20/16 : Online statues change to Card was mailed to me !

Income tax returns
Hi ,
USCIS requested my spouse 2015 tax transcript, we are having hard time getting it directly on IRS website, is it okay to download it from Turbotax.com that was used to file taxes last year ? i download it from Turbotax and it's called 1040EZ form but it's not signed or stamped by IRS is that a problem?

Green card error
So today i received my green card in the mail. Yay. it is a 10 year one. However i was approved for a conditional 2 years. I ve been calling uscis but seem like nobody knows. I tried to schedule an info pass. But its full. What should i do??? ????

hello immihelp family
on my application i had a RFE stating that the income is below the poverty line. submit assets or request a joint sponsor which one is better? if i decide to have a joint sponsor they ask tax returns W 2 forms 1099 forms 2555 form and tax schedules! that's a lot? what do you think? feel free to share me your toughts about it!!!

St. Louis Interview
Hey Friends, I had the interview today, they didn't have an answer for me yet, apparently the medical examination that I had to done again, came with some missing information from the Doctor's Office, and now here I go again , waiting for another RFE, probably I need to go to the doctor and get the specific data required by the USCIS.
QUESTIONS:

how we meet
they asked me about my status all this years because I over stay with my visa
yes /no questions
how is my relation, if we ever have had any problem,
Well I can say it was what I was expecting from the IO, also I was ready for any inconvenience after the interview, I wasn't expecting the approval immediately , relax. ( it is what it is ) at least the IO was very nice person, respectful and polite.
I had a folder full of information , they didn't need it, they didn't even see my pictures, but they kept the photos, If I remember something else I will let you know, if you have some questions feel free to ask , good luck .

I485- 15 months of waiting in Houston
Hi everyone,
Just want to sincerely thank everyone who shares experience on here and this forum literally gives me hope for the past year. I finally got an interview notice after 14 months of a long wait. I probably will never forget the frustrating period time of my life.
07/18/15: Sent in the package
08/18/15: Received the package. PD date
09/24/15: Your case is ready for an interview
10/20/15: EAD approved
(I don't remember when I got my biometric and updated medical exam but it was sometimes from September-October 2015)
.......................did not hear back at all since this day..........
09/14/16: Finally scheduled an info pass.
09/19/16: Received a mail notice for an interview on October 4, 2016.
So now I need to redo my Medical Exam because it only lasts for a year. Please wish I and my husband luck with our interview. And goodluck to everyone who has similar PD time frame in Houston, TX.

Out of curiosity, I went to San Jose field office today with Infopass appointment. The Lady said they're backlogged on i485 now. They are processing N400 at faster pace to get more voters. They will speed up the AOS once the voter registration deadline is passed(which is Oct 24). Finally she said expect to hear from us in about 4 months. If not, contact us again.
