Interview
Hi everyone.
Just have questions.
We had an interview 3 weeks ago in Federal Plaza NY.
An interview went well , we didn’t get any white paper and we were not approved on the spot.
Till today the status I485 and I 130 didn’t change still the same “ an interview was scheduled “
I’m a bit worried about it.
Any advice or suggestions why is like that.
Thank you .

Almost over 7 years
Hi all I've been a silent reader, as my case has finally come to and end. I share my experience with some that there case is not marriage base. My case is unmarried son over21 years Aos from USC parent. I came to America when I was 14 years old. I came on a B2 visitor visa. In 2000 my step dad filed aos for me and my mom. I was 17 at the time, I moved out of my mother house before I had my interview because my step dad was verbally abusive towards me. But any way make a long story short I did not get my green card. The of me and my mom interview he told the immigration officer that I had went back to my home country and no longer wanted to continue the process, which was a big fat lie but that did stop me from having hope. My mom became a usc in 2007 and filed I130 for me in 2012 with a priority date of May 2012 priority date current after 7 years in june of 2019. I485 sent out with 245i and I765 uscis received it August 2019. Chicago field office finger print done 4th of September ready to schedule interview october 18 interview schedule for November 26 Chicago field office. I got to interview about 1hr early appointment time was 1:05p.m got called in around 2:00p.m interviewer was a Male, I was nervous as hell but I think these people want to help everyone. Interview was like having a conversation with a friend it lasted about 20 min at the end he handed me a white paper told me he had to review my case and that was it came home and around 5:30 p.m case update new card being produced. My journey is almost over after 21 years I finally get to go back home.

Interview
Hey guys,

I need some input on how long did USCIS take to schedule your interview after you file your I-485?

I am asking because my spouse wants to come to the U.S. so she can file her I-485 under my dependent and she needs to be present in the U.S. for at least 3 months before she can apply for the I-485. My attorney told me it would be too late once USCIS schedules my interview.

Thank you

Only 1 year of tax return
Hi guys,

We are going to submit our application . I know that we need to submit federal tax return, however my husband only have tax return for 2018, he doesn’t have tax return for 2016 and 2017 because he was unemployed. He’s currently working and he met the 125% guideline for 2018 and already 125% above the poverty guidelines for 2019, however we can only provide the tax return for 2018 since 2019 tax return is not ready yet. Are we going to be denied for not having 3 years tax return as i can see that they are asking for 3 years of tax return?
