Advance Parole

Hi all,
I got approved for my combo card a few days ago, and we are planning a trip outside of the country. My lawyer told me that I can just bring the combo card and the passport, but I am worried if I needed anything more. What should I bring along for travel outside? Also anyone have experience with IAD when coming back?

For any one who has any queries while traveling on EAD/Advance Parole combo card, feel free to go ahead and travel.

I drove to Vancouver on Dec 1st 2019 for a day trip from Seattle. On the way back at the US checkpoint, the officer told me that I will have to be Paroled and it is " A no big deal". I was directed to proceed to a secondary inspection.

It was around midnight and there was a shift change for the officers so had to wait about 10-15 mins. Apart from that, just a couple basic questions regarding my local address and what application for AOS is pending on thats it.

It was all so simple and the officer mentioned to feel free to travel as long as the EAD/AP card is valid.

Hi I am writing this if it can help anyone. I have recently visited my home country with my EAD (combo card having advance parole) and everything went smoothly. I have hesitant to go as was undocumented for a year but nothing happened the officer was really polite he guided me to the room for further checking but nothing happened the next officer just checked my card online and I was good to go. So everyone who got their cards and want to fly just go ahead and use it nothing will happened Best of Luck for everyone

I will be travelling to India with Turkish Airlines with the combo card (EAD/AP). Do you have any experience with this airlines about accepting combo card as valid document to travel back to USA?

Next question is if anyone has used the AP as a valid document to support Turkish E-visa.

Since, I am not able to get the passport from my home country due to pending Asylum case, how do I go around getting the Travel Document? I am now in the marriage based case as well and I am aware that Travel Document I not issued to this green card category. No interviews yet for neither case. Thanks

Our interview was on 10/2/2019.I just saw that my AP document has been produced but no update on my I765.Will I only get the travel document alone or together with the EAD? I filed everything together and my I130 was approved on on the spot.Please help

We had our employement based AOS interview in August 2019 but we do not get our green cards yet. We want to travel our country for Christmas. Is Advance Parole enough to travel or do we also need a valid visa ? This makes us nervous.

1st i like to say Use Your AP without thinking twice, let me tell you my experience,
I was illegal Presence for more then 1year in USA, married to US citizen & got my Ead combo card with AP & i Decided to go to India for Visiting Parents & Family.
And i took a Trip for like 50 days, I wasn’t so worried while coming back, Landed in SFO airport & stand in 1st immigration Line, my turns comes & i gave him my passport & EAD Combo card, he took finger prints & photo and said I don’t have STAMP here you have to go to Back room(Secondary Immigration), in that room i waited like 10-15mins & they callled my Name & asked Who Sponsors you for GC.
I gave my answer & He said Welcome Back to SFO.

With my experience They just asked me 1 question which is easy.
To all My friends who want to visit their Families Use your AP & enjoy your Trips without any Problem. (My Background is Clean as Crystal water).

is there a way to check that your i-485 is still open? I don't want to travel on my AP to find out later that it is not open.
