Hello Guys, I wanted to share my experience with you. I've been reading thousands of experiences over 2 years about the risk of traveling with advance parole if you overstayed with your visa.
I filed my AOS in February and didn't receive my combo card, but because of my job I had to travel outside of USA and I applied for Emergency Advance parole in NYC office. They gave me the advance parole for 1 year for multiple entries. It only took 30 minutes! I was really shocked by how easy it was. I've been waiting for that stupid document for years and they just gave it to me in 30 minutes!
Anyway, I finally got on the plane to Russia and I went to Japan, Thailand, Ukraine for two months of traveling. I departed to NYC 2 weeks ago, I was so nervous, scared that they won't allow me in the country because I overstayed for 3 years and I got arrested for an accusation of shoplifting (Judge gave me 2 days community service).
So I gave my advance parole document to the customs officer and he asked me to put my fingers to scan and after that, he called another officer to take me to office. That was pretty expected. So I went to the office and wait for 10 minutes and the officer called my name and asked me "What base is your application?" and I said it's thorough marriage and he gave my passport back "you are good to go, sir" .
That was it! I was so shocked and happy it was so easy! They didn't ask me anything or give me a hard time. All the people and lawyers say don't travel until you get your GC but that just stupid! If you have your advance parole just use it guys! I haven't heard any single person who got trouble with AP.
So I wish this could help and give some trust to others who afraid to travel! Goodluck!

AP and EAD outside normal processing time
Hi. I filled my I-765 and I-131 on 10/22/2018. It’s been already 275 days after they received my case. On July 1 st I filled injury request of outside normal processing time. It showed that I should expect a reply by July 23. Today is July 24 and still nothing. Please give me some advice, how to make them already produce my card.

Bio taken - Mar 4, 2019
I485 Status changed to Ready to be scheduled for an interview - Mar. 11, 2019
Received date for I131 - Mar 21, 2019
Address change - April 1, 2019
I called USCIS on July 11 to expedite I131 due to my medical reason, my uncle being ill and my USC husband's brother is getting married in my home country beginning of Sept. 2019.
The agent advised me that USCIS might ask for proofs of my uncle and my medical records and I will hear a response in 5 days.
Exactaly 5 days later, (including weekends) on July 16, I received an email from USCIS saying my case is currently under review and I should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.
They didn't ask me to provide any proofs. I'm worried because they might deny my expedite request without even seeing the proofs.
It's been a week since I've received an email and there's no update since then.
Anybody was in the same situation?

advance parole question
Hi everyone,
I have a question for whoever can help me because my case is very specific. I came here on a B1B2 visa and married my boyfriend of two years without overstaying my visa and applied for Adjustment of Status. My awful husband then physically abused me and didn't let me apply for an advance parole. I left him last year and applied for the I 360.
My case I 130 hasn't been withdrawn, I just went to the interview and asked them to hold my I 485 application on abeyance. After that I was approved my advance parole in April and I traveled home for 10 days and came back without any problem.
This is the plot twist. Now they are not approving my EAD extension because they say they have yet to approve my I 360 and I need to urgently go home to fix some law school documents (I am starting law school in a month).
I bought my ticket but I asked my congresswoman for help and they told her they will send me a Prima Facie Determination (routine for I 360) but now I am terrified of traveling even though my I 130 is still open because what if they think I am breaching the law by traveling while both my I 360 and I 130 are still pending.
The first time went very smoothly, they literally had me wait 5 minutes or less and stamped my passport and travel document but now that my congresswoman is involved I'm worried they will look more into it when I come back.
I wouldn't go if it wasn't for urgent documentation that I need for my law school and bar exam.
If anyone had this experience please let me know, I would appreciate any help.

I’m seeking asylum in the usa and i traveled the last year to see my sick mom in a different country than my original one . I didn’t have any problem coming back . So my question is : is it safe to travel again with the advance parole to see her again because she still sick ?

ADVANCE PAROLE TRAVEL
Happy Monday everyone. I wanted to share my recent travel experience with you. I traveled home for 2.5 weeks with advance parole and didn't have any issues at all. just returned yesterday! POE was Atlanta and airline was Delta. I wish everyone a blessed week!

I have applied end of March for AP, together with I485. I have completed biometrics 2 months ago. It's been around 3 months and 2 weeks and still no change on the case status app. I'm from LA and Nebraska center is taking care of it. Anyone here who is in the same boat? Wondering if I can plan my trip for August or it will take longer.

Travel with Advance Parole with DEPORTATION ORDER
PD: December 8th 2018
Receipt: January 10th 2019
Advance Parole Document: January 15th 2019
I applied for the Advance Parole early part of December 8th 2018 and got the approval update online January 10th and received the physical approval January 15th. I was extremely scared because of my deportation order on my name. I decided to take a flight out of Fort Lauderdale ( I stay in Tampa FL) I left for Haiti April 6th 2019 and came back to the U.S April 8th 2019. Its VERY EASY to leave but more Harder to get back in. When I left I took with me my passport, Travel Document, and my Employment card or Employment receipt document and my Temporary Protected Status (TPS) receipt.
It is better to have ALL 4 of these documents with u when u travel because there are some people that are not used to seeing a travel document or know whats its for. I ran into a MINOR Issue at check in at the airport in Haiti because of me not having my employment card but I had a picture of it on my phone so once I showed them that ALL was good after that. When I came back into U.S I had to go to Border Patrol. Once border patrol realized I had Advance Parole they took my finger prints and my photo and then he took me to the Secondary Inspection room. That room was SO DEPRESSING because of the other people that are there. Border Patrol sat me down in a chair with 20 other people possibly in my same situation. I was there for about 35 to 40 minutes before they called me up and stamped my passport and my travel document. Before leaving that secondary inspection make sure they returned all the documents u had given them and also MAKE SURE it is your passport they gave back to u and that it has been STAMPED.
From that point on I went to get my luggage and left the airport without any issues. It was a easy process if u have all your documents and not allow yourself to be scared. There are a lot of people in fear of leaving the country with Advance Parole but it is u guys who are posting that allow us to read your experiences that makes it easier for people like me/us to take that chance to travel outside the country. MAJOR THANKS TO ALL and I WISH ALL THE BEST.
P.S Am currently filing for Adjustment of Status and filed my I-485(through marriage) I already did my fingerprint. Am currently waiting for my interview. Hopefully its soon. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL.

Overstay travel
Hi guys,
Is it safe to travel with Advance parole if I'm overstayed? I came to the country using ESTA 4 years ago and it expired after three months. I am adjusting status through marriage and waiting for my interview. I really like to visit my family and friends in my country. I have no criminal record. I am just worried that they would deny my reentry because of my unlawful presence in the United States.

I-131 Approved but EAD Card came without AP
Hi, I want to share my experience with you.
My I-765 and I-131 were both approved in Jun 4, and I received the I-797 (green form).
My EAD card arrived in June 10, but without the I-512 message.
What should I do? Had this happened with someone else before? Is USCIS sending an AP document to me? Should I replace my card?
