Advanced parole with DACA
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on if I can travel using advanced parole. I am a DACA recipient and have never gotten the chance to leave the country. I know that they stopped accepting AP applications last year, but I am reading about many people traveling. Should I apply?
Thanks

Advance Parole Experience July 2017
I travelled on Advance parole in July 2017 from Eastern Europe back to the US. It was the time when it was difficult to travel for many people because of the newly appointed administration in the White House. I was a little afraid as most of you probably are. I flew from Madrid to New York City and I remember it was a horrible experience during the time where I had to wait for my American Airlines flight. Please, avoid this airline if you can, use it only for domestic flight!!! In Madrid people did not know what was an Advance Parole so you have to explain to them. I had a green card application pending at the time. In Eastern Europe people also don't know what an Advance Parole is, but I managed to get into the flight. As I arrived at JFK Airport I had to use the visitors line in order to proceed and I remember I had to wait a loooooong time and I desperately needed to go to the restroom, I was ready to explode. After literally 2 hours wait my time came, the officer saw my documents and took me to the small room where there was a podium and chairs in front. I told the officer that I need to use the restroom and he replied that the processing officer was there. I was ready to explode. Anyway, he came, he saw my paperwork, checked me online on the computer, gave me my passport and parole and said: "Have a nice day!" and that was it. I went to take my bags and went straight home. Before I left for Europe I did get the phone numbers of my lawyer and staff. If you have no criminal background or arrests there shouldn't be any issues using the parole. This is all I can say.

Traveled twice with AP in 2018
Hu guys, I think it will be useful for some of you to know that I just reentered US with same AP for the 2 time in one year. I had no issues, just had to wait longer than usual because I was escorted to a room for additional check where they had to check the status of my pending AOS.

Received SSN but no EAD Combo card for my daughter
Hi,
I have completed most of the process for GC (EB1) i.e. EAD received for me and my wife, Interview conducted for the family (myself, wife and daughter) and all approval notices received for I-765, I- 131 etc for myself, my spouse and my daughter. Only thing missing is the EAD combo card for my daughter. The system shows that her I-765 and I-131 is approved on Oct 15th 2018 but no trace of EAD card yet.

I called the customer service and they asked me wait for 60 days after Approval date i.e. till December 15th. Further the representative told that they would be able to raise the inquiry post 15th December.

Please let me know if you have seen cases like this where the process is almost complete with all the approvals and even SSN is delivered and there is a pending EAD.

I got worried because I have out of country travel planned on 31st January and this not having EAD card for my daughter will jeopardize everything.
Please suggest if any resolution in sight.

Need advise
Hello all. Can someone share their experience about traveling with AP? My mom is very sick and I wanna go see her. I'm currently waiting for my interview to get scheduled. I do have my EAD that says is valid as an advance parole (I applied for both and they were approved) but I am really afraid because I overstayed my visa for 11 years. I have no criminal records or similar. I just wanna be with her and think that everything will be fine, I haven't seen her in one year. If someone has overstayed and travel please let me know. Thank you..

Can I travel by boat
I always travel by plane but never by boat, the plane to go to my country is very expensive around this time of year. So I opted for the boat since it’s more than half the price. I recently got approved for my AP and wanted to know if anyone ever had an experience with traveling on a cruise ?
