I-131 confusion
I posted my application for AP last week and usps said it was delivered on Thurs. I got a text msg from +15059696717 saying my case is now updated. I checked online but there was nothing, firstly the phone number looked wrong cz USCIS don't send text msgs from such numbers. I called USCIS to complain n they said all I can do is wait 4 30days to c if there will b any update. I want to send d package again.
Plz any suggestions..

Traveling with AP
Hi guys,I have been reading your comments on the AP and I think my case is different from all comments I read here but, I will explain my self in case some one knows something.I got my AP and my Attorney thinks that it is safe for me to travel. I got a deportation order more than 15 years ago but, I never left. Now I am married to a Citizen who like my Attorney thinks is ok to travel. I am so terrified that I can't think straight to take a decision. Does any one knows any body that had travel with AP if they had a immigration problem in the past?:( :(

Need your advice
Hi guys,

I am a DACA recipient and I am thinking of applying for advanced parole to visit my grandpa down in Mexico. But I am having second thoughts because of what might happen by the time I go on the trip. I have not applied yet and I don't know if I should but then again I feel like this might be my only chance of seeing him. From what I've heard from other people it takes around a month and a half to receive their acceptance letter. So that will mean I would not receive mine til mid september but I am scared that all the money that I will spent on an attorney plus the application fee will go to waste if DACA gets taken away before I even get accepted or even worst if I get stuck in Mexico and not being allowed to come back in to the country. So I am just lost right now and not sure what to do.

Mistakenly fill up the form Re-entry permit instead of Advance Parole
Hi,

I would like to hear some advice regarding my AOS package process.

April 4- Sent FORM I-468, FORM I-131, FORM I-765 AND OTHER SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
April 7- they received my Application
April 28- received Biometrics
May 8- received Initial Evidence
May 24- they received and resume working my papers again.
June 7 -received my change of address

Its already july and I haven't received my EAD. However while browsing my documents again I checked my FORM I-131 Authority to Travel. I fill up the form RE-ENTRY PERMIT instead of ADVANCE PAROLE because people who will fill up the re-entry permit are those who are already permanent resident. I'm wondering why the USCIS is not giving me any notice about this mistake. Any advice what should I do?

opinion
for the people that already obtain advance parole, are you guys still planning on doing your trip? even if they are trying to get rid off DACA, I was listening to the radio and they were saying that it was now a greater risk of not being able to come back safely because of this new opposition and the letter that was sent to Trump. My trip is in 3 weeks, I wasn't that concern before now the unease feeling just won't go away. I know the media sometimes exaggerate but it would be unwise to not listen also.

please comment below your opinions,

thank you
