Studying abroad
Hy everyone. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. I got my GC back in winter. I have one year left in law school abroad. I would really want to finish it. Has anyone had an experience with studying abroad as a GC holder? Traveling back and forward is not a problem. The school year starts in September and ends in the end of the march. Thank you in advance.

I NEED ADVICE
Hello, I’m really going through it right now. My wife threatens me with divorce every chance she gets. I really thought this COVID-19 would bring us closer since we will have more family time. I work day in day out to make her happy but she never appreciates it. She has chosen not to work even when she has had multiple job offers. I just got my GC in Jan and I got a job immediately. Even her mum constantly texts me to leave her but I’m still holding on cos she has a child and I’ve fallen in love with him. I recently just enlisted in the military but I haven’t gone to training yet. If I get a divorce will it hurt my chances of getting a 10 years GC and going to military training?

RFE
Hi, I receive RFE and I was wondering if I should send bills, leases, and all other evidence for period of 2 years of the permanent resident card or these 2 years and all the bills till today?
I got my first 2 years green card in March 2017-March 2019. I did a mistake by sending only one month of bank statements and bills.

I-751 Nebraska
Hi all,

For those who applied around June 2019 in Lincoln, NE, here is my experience:

Case Sent - June 12, 2019
Case Was Received - June 14, 2019
Extension Notice Received - June 24, 2019
Fingerprint Review Was Completed - November 13, 2019
New Card Is Being Produced - April 24, 2020
Case Was Approved - April 27, 2020

Took roughly a month from start to finish (plus a couple weeks to prepare the package). I did it on my own since between my spouse and I, I am the meticulous one. We sent as much evidence as we could (most may have been an overkill, but no room for doubt), including copies of:

Passport and licenses
Copy of marriage certificate
Copies of employment for both
Joint credit card bills
Copies of common health/home/car/life insurances
We don't have a lease together since my spouse bought our home before marriage, but we included documentation showing intention to buy a place together
Copies of utility bills under my name (to show that while I'm not on the home title, I contribute in a different way)
Collage of photos taken through the years with family, friends, and ourselves on trips during the time we've been together (9 years as of now, married for 2 at the time we submitted I-751)
3 letters of affidavit

We were a little nervous that we have no children, but turned out that it was no problem at all.

No transfers nor interview.

My best advice: QUADRUPLE check EVERYTHING, and keep it organized and easy to understand.

Good luck!

Hi I submitted a photo album and some Christmas and birthday cards along with I-751. They returned my photo album and cards saying these files format don't fit in folder. How should I submit photos if I don't put them in an album? And How do I submit birthday and Christmas greeting cards?

Hi everyone, I’m having a strange issue I submitted my i751 documents only to receive it in the mail with a rejected note, they stated that the form was on an outdated version and I have to refill on an updated version, it’s a Dec2019 version and that’s the only only available on their webpage
Has anyone had such an issue or a recommendation on how to go about this??suggestions will be highly appreciated
