Canada Visa

Hi,

I applied from the US and got the letter on Nov 19 to drop my passport. My passport was expired and I applied to renew my passport at our embassy and due to Covid-19 issues, it is taking longer than normal and I still do not have my passport in my hands. The government of Canada gave me 30 days to drop my passport and just 10 days is left. is there any way I can extend this 30 days? Do you have any number, website or email to contact with? I filled a form on the canada.gov website two weeks ago but no body answered to that form.

Biometrics submission : 26-Oct-2020
Waiting for approval/PP request

My maxout date in US is Jan 2021. Has anyone here received approvals around similar timeframes? Thank you in advance.

Bio-Metrics done on Nov 2nd
Received notification from IRCC to retake bio-metrics for my wife on Nov 19th
Biometrics retake done on Nov 25th
Waiting for the response

Please share if anyone applied (Biometrics done) during September or early October received any response from IRCC?

Hi all,

I have applied my WP from US on 28th August and gave biometrics on 2nd September 2020.
Still no update, my US visa maxout is on 26th November 2020. It has been more than a month since my attorney has sent a case specific enquiry and no response from IRCC till now.

Has anyone applied on the same time and got PP request or is there any other way to contact IRCC, kindly let me know.

I am staying in Canada and applied work permit extension. After extension approved,I send my passport and documents required for visa stamping. My package received by CIC on Oct 9th. It is almost a month but still not received my passport. Last week I received email from CIC that I need to send my passport within 30 days. But when I tracked in Canadapost, it shows my package with passport already delivered. I am really worried about my passport. How can we know the information about my passport? Is there a contact to call and get the details. Can anyone please help me.

My sister has filed an intracompany transfer LMIA Exempt Visa through my attorney on 13th October 2020.
She has submitted biometrics on 13th October 2020 at Dubai Consulate originally from India.
Can someone tell me how much it will take to get the application approved.

My company sponsored closed WP for me and open WP for my wife. Below is my timeline:
Applied from the US : June 23rd, 2020
Biometric completed (mine): July 28th, 2020
Biometric completed (Spouse): August 16th, 2020
Approval/Passport request : ?????

Anyone in similar boat? My clock will start ticking from August 16th right?
