Biometrics letter
I submitted my visitor visa application on 1/23 for me and my wife. The website got updated today with a biometrics letter on my wife's name but there is none on my name. Do we just get 1 letter for both or is there separate letters for each applicant. I am the principal applicant.

01/17/20 tried my luck and walked into USCIS and they took my bio metrics due to circumstances (I need to be in Canada for an appointment. The website updated the same day.
I'll keep updating as online forums have been really helpful to me

Waiting for passport request letter for TRV Visitor Visa
Hi All,
has anyone received a passport request letter for Canada TRV Visitor visa this year 2020?
I have provided bio-metric on 01/02/20. Since then application status is in Progress.
Below are updates on my Visitor Visa application,
12/30/19: Submitted online application.
12/31/19: Got email about bio metrics submission.
01/02/20: Bio metrics provided at USCIS ASC. Same day IRCC website updated with the information that they received my bio metrics.

Visiting Visa for Canada
I would like to mention my Canada travel visa experience with dates:
12/09/19: Submitted online application.
12/10/19: Got email about bio metrics submission.
As I leave close to NY city VAC, chosen the appointment for bio metrics on 12/13(even though 12/11, the very next day appointments were also available). I've tried to schedule on USCIS website as well but the earliest date was 12/24/19, literally 2 weeks from the day I looked up, and this 14 days wait time is minimum if you chose USCIS location.
12/13/19: Bio metrics at New York VAC. Same day IRCC website updated with the information that they received my bio metrics.
12/14 & 12/15: Weekend
12/19/19: Consulate asked for passport submission.
12/19/19: Took money order and submitted the passport at UPS location and chosen premium delivery option available. (Next day air)
12/20/19: Passport delivered to VAC and sent to consulate on the same day evening.
12/21 and 12/22: Weekend
12/23/19:
10 AM message saying passport received by consulate.
12 PM message saying visa is issued and sent back to VAC.
12/24/19:
Passport received by VAC and ready for pickup for UPS by 12 PM.
5 PM: Passport picked up by UPS.
12/25: Holiday.
12/26/19: Passport delivered by 12 PM.
Total processing time 17 calendar days including 5 holidays and 2 days I delayed myself for bio metrics, so I can say 10 business days in total.

Nov 15 : Application submitted (Early morning )
Nov 16 : Bio metric letter
Nov 29 : Bio metric appointment (USCIS will have only appointment date after 14 days , walk in is very rare Nov 29 : Bio metric reflected in portal (No letter or some email )
Dec 05 : Correspondence letter (Bio metric validation letter )
Dec 06 : passport request letter
( 20.40 money order for each applicant and prepaid receipt with return address on it along with consent letter , passport , passport request letter )
Dec 11 : Receipt activated with VAC tracking number with the status send to IRCC
Dec 12 : Status updated to IRCC send back to VAC
Dec 13 : Return receipt activated
Dec 14 : Got my passport back (I had a flight booked on dec 14th ) and everything is neck to neck
below are the timelines for the entire process after reading lot of post and personal experience
Submission confirmation : same day or 1 day
Bio metric letter : 1-2 business days
Bio metric appointment : 2 weeks
passport request letter : 3-5 days
VAC tracking activation : 2-4 days
VAC processing : 2-4 days
Overnight delivery : 2 days as they will hand over to courier after 6 pm so receipt won't get activate on the same day
if you are lucky, everything will be processed in minimum mentioned time

No response from IRCC
I submitted my TRV application on Oct 29, 2019.after 24hrs received a petter for biometrice collection letter.
On Nov 7,2019 submitted my boimetrics
Nov 22, 2019 received a correspondence letter
Since then im still not getting any response,its almost 15business days sonce i received the correspondence letter and thats it.
Anyone who have the same timeline w/ me and not getting any response also?
