I’ve been waiting 218 days and still no update. I am considering requesting and expedited processing. My i-485 says they are ready to schedule and interview but only God knows when that will happen. Is there anyone who is able to give me any advice on how to use and ombudsman or how to request the expedited processing.

Just quit question since the waiting list for renewal ead is taking forever 😢 mine will expired in January InshAllah “if God wills” can I submit my application around July or August at list 5 months a head of a time? Expedite request for EAD

Finally last friday a Tier 2 officer said she would put in a request to expedite the case as its 8 months since recieve date.
Today i got an update on the case:
On May 1, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number YYYY X, was completed.

On May 1, 2019, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number YYYY X.
05/01/2019
On May 1, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number YYYY X, was assigned to an officer for response.
I also got an email to send in supporting documents, "Please fax proof of your extreme emergent need or severe financial loss". I don't have any support documents, the teir 2 officer expedited my case with an elaborate comment on it taking too long?
Has anyone experienced this? Does "your request to have your case expedited, referral number YYYY X, was completed" mean they accepted the request without documents needed? Anyone had similar experience.

Hi guys, let me share my details with timeline for users and hopping someone will reply me as well.
Applied EAD (J2) on Feb 8 2019
Got update:
-April 22: We ordered your new card
-April 23: We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
-April 25: Sent approval notice, received by April 27
-April 29: "New Card Is Being Produced"
On April 29, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number YSC1990148765, and will mail it to the address you gave us.
Till today I have not received EAD card.. how long I have to wait...

Status online still says doc receipt mailed out Dec 20th (doc received by uscis receipt)
Has anyone had this issue with their status online never updating, I have not received any documents that they have received my fingerprints or if they need additional info

I applied for EAD on 5th of October 2018 NBC center - Bio after 3 weeks, yesterday processing time was from 5.5 to 7 months (August and September) for All other applications for employment authorization, today I checked processing time it's from 9 to 11.5 months, does anybody get EAD which applied in August or September 2018?
the processing time delayed 5 months more!

Applying from NY. My i485 and i765 were received Jan 25th. My i485 has already an interview scheduled for this month but my EAD hasn't updated. I was under the impression that the EAD gets approved before. Any info on this?
