After card is being produced
Hi all, my RD is 11/30/2018.
Two days ago my case status was changed to "new card is being produced"
And, today it was suddenly changed to "case was approved". Is it normal process?
And after getting this message how long it will take to get real card?

October 2018 Filer - Finally EAD Approved
Hi All,
I was silent follower of these experiences which kept my hope floated for last 6.5 months.
Now is the time to give back to all the October 2018 filers who all was waiting for EAD to be approved anxiously.
Here is my timeline:
NBC. Employment Based AOS C09.
On 10/12/2018 - Filed I-485 / I-765 / I-131
On 10/23/2018 - All Case Status changed to "Case was Received" and checks got encashed
On 11/13/2018 - Had Bio-Metrics Appointment
On 03/25/2019 - Called USCIS to inquire about the status. Got standard answer since processing time was then 4 to 6 months have to wait
On 04/16/2019 - Called USCIS again and explained that I am waiting for EAD for more than 6 months now and since twice the dates got retrogressed for NBC would like to Expedite my case. Level 1 Officer was nice and accepted the "Expedite Request" for severe financial loss as I am the sole bread earner of my family with dependent wife and 2 kids
On 04/22/2019 - My Expedite case was assigned to an Officer for review. Same day I saw updates in USCIS My Account status showing as Expedite request is complete. At night saw status got changed to "New Card is Being Produced"
On 04/25/2019 - Case Status updated to "Card was mailed to Me"
Now waiting for USPS to pick up my card and get the tracking number. Hoping that the dreadful wait is over for EAD and hoping to get my card next week. Keeping my fingers crossed that USPS doe not goof up in delivery.
Will keep you all posted when I get my Card delivered.

I am filer with NBC. on 2 November 2018. No sign for EAD (marriage based). When do you think that USCIS will work in November cases? If they are going to delay one more month I think that I am going to quit. It is not worth it.

What does it mean when I received a Request For Initial Evidence
I check my status everyday and today I received a request for initial evidence. I haven't received the mail yet in the mailbox I just saw it online. What does it mean and what is normally the evidence being asked. I filed a marriage based GC and ead card.
I'm also worried about the clock I wanted to know if it restarts or pauses.

180 automatic extension still has not come
Hey guys!! I have a very weird case. So i have a work permit that is about to expire so my husband and i filed like 2 months ago for renewal but the receipt/180 day extension just aint coming!! I womder why??? Although i have gone for the green card /i-130 interview which was approved (but my green card /i-485 has to be gotten from the court due to being in removal proceeding lol ). Anyway, i think something weird is going on because usually receipts are to be gotten within 2-3 weeks after a person files

Ombudsman experience
Hi! I filled DHS Form 7001 seeking case assistance - my EAD card was returned undeliverable, USCIS confirmed card re-mail on Jan 18, 2019, but I still haven't received the card.
If you contacted the Ombudsman to help with your case, could you please share how long it took them to respond and then how long till USCIS took any action? Thanks!

I expedited my case through the congressman office and they recently got replies below:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. We have requested the file and it will be reviewed by an officer once we receive the file. Your constituent should receive a decision or notice of other action within 30 days of the date of this notice.
Does this mean USCIS agrees to expedite my case?
