Processing time
As per processing time data on USCIS site for I-765 EAD, they are processing 1st April...data published on 30th June. So they have a backlog of 90 days.....does this mean..that 90-100 is standard time for processing ?

EAD/AP
Hi, everyone.

I wanted to update y'all on my husband's timeline:

2/10/17: Entered the U.S. on K1 visa.
4/22/17: Married.
4/24/17: Application overnighted via FedEx.
5/10/17: Application "legally received" by USCIS, assigned to National Benefits Center.
6/14/17: Husband completed biometrics.
7/22/17: Updated address online for I-131, I-485, I-765. It only shows up on I-131 case online, though.

Our center's processing times for I-765 and I-131 are still 90 days, updated as of August 10. We are now legally past the deadline for a decision on the work visa (which now contains the I-131, as well).

I now have case workers for our congressman and one of our senators escalating the issue, as well as former and current case workers in other offices working on it (I used to work on Capitol Hill, so I know that it's everyone's right to have assistance from a case worker!). Our lawyer has been little help (she claims she is getting help from her own congressman, who she knows), so we're really navigating this on our own.

We leave for our long-awaited international honeymoon on the evening of August 22, pending approval. We will likely have to make an appointment at a USCIS office for a passport stamp, since the card might not arrive in time. We are hopeful that through the escalation of our case from multiple offices, we'll get an answer soon. We received no notice of a delay, and we never even got a request for initial or additional evidence.

EAD Renewal Based on Pending Asylum Case
04/11/2017 - Case received and forwarded to Nebraska Service Center.
Now it's day 121....Still waiting for new card.

Nebraska Service Center is always late, but the good news is that I can still use my old card for 6 months because of the new rule:

EB2 based EAD Timeline
Employment based EB-2 EAD. Simultaneous filing of I-485 and I-765

I-765 Form (EAD Application) Receipt date - Apr 18

Service Request - July 3

Biometrics appointment - July 13 (later than expected)

Service Request response - July 25

Service Request response states following: "U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received."

Have no news since. I've been waiting for more than 110 days so far.

I think Nebraska Center just overwhelmed with work. Everything seems to be moving forward, but very, very slowly.

What's your ideas, guys? Share your experience, if similar. Thanks!

I'll be updating on all and any changes in my case.

I-765 based on E3D Visa
Filed I-765 based on E3D visa

April 13th – Case was received – Vermont service center

May 25th – Request for additional evidence

June 9th – Response to evidence received

July 27th – SR submitted

August 2nd – Response by UCIS: Your case is not outside of normal processing times, as initial evidence was requested on the 25th May. Followed up with phone call to clarify that UCIS requested additional evidence and not initial evidence. UCIS informed us that regardless of this they are processing cases from early March.

August 10th – submitted to congresswomen documents (job offer) to attempt to expedite case (at day 104)

The worst part about the process is not knowing whether you are going to be approved tomorrow or in two months.
