"Matter of Arrabally Yerrabelly"
Does BIA decision "Matter of Arrabally Yerrabelly" applies to all approved advance parole or only to certain types of advance parole document?

strike while the irons hot
hi guys,

thank you all so much for all the positive stories and resources. I am excited to announce that i finally finished my advance parole document and will be going to the USCIS office tomorrow to request emergency AP. Im just about done and will definitely update you all!

just one question, did anyone have any trouble with doctors note translation? I did the best i could to translate it but some of the medical terms are a bit hard to translate. like measurements and temp etc. do you think they will deny it if its not 100% translated and i just put exactly what is on it ?

I was paroled back into the states! Yay!
I am a Saudi Arabian woman who got married to a US Citizen in October of 2016 on a B1/2 visiting visa.
I filed my papers for AOS in February of 2017. I was granted the combination card of EAD and AP in May of 2017. I travelled to Saudi Arabia in June 23 and came back through LAX in August 3rd. (A couple of days ago).
The officer first asked me why was I granted the EAD/AP card, then asked how long I was living in the states before I left. He checked my marriage certificate, my card, my passport and USCIS receipt. Then he said to follow him into another closed off room (which was pretty scary). I waited for 15 minutes before another officer asked me who petitioned for me, and what are my parents names. Then he stamped my passport "paroled"! I don't deny I was very afraid!

Traveling to Mexico with AP
Hello,

I am traveling to Mexico on August 10th and will be there for one week. I am nervous and excited. Today, I, unfortunately, got my first a speeding ticket. I am worried that I will have issues at the San Franciso airport due to this. Have any of you traveled with a speeding ticket and be able to return with no problems? Thank you for help.

Still nervous.
Hello everyone!

I've been reading all of your stories and experience and it really encouraging me to use my AP.
But still I have to ask..

Is it ok to use my AP to travel outside of the U.S eventhough I've been out of status since 2011? Me and my wife are planning to attend my brother's wedding in September and will be dtaying there for 2 weeks.

Im adjusting my status thru marriage and had just received my EAD and AP combo card.
Would it trigger the 10 year ban if I leave and come back using the AP?

I'm located L.A so i'll go thru LAX when I come back.

Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Question
Hi everyone, this is my first time writing in this forum but I have been following everyone's successful stories for months now. My application for Advance Parole was received on April 25th and there was no update until Monday afternoon showing "On July 31, 2017, we mailed your document for Receipt Number LIN **** **** *, directly to the address you gave us." Could this mean it was approved and my document was sent, or perhaps they require additional documents? Has anyone else received this same update?
