It's a step forward, though! The update you got is not always sent because cases just jump from being "ready to schedule" to "interview scheduled".Originally posted by amanda. View PostHey! Yes, however mine actually doesn't say "case is ready" it says, "We are scheduling your interview" - not that that is probably much different! haha.
Glad to hear it is free to renew for the EAD application - I may need to do that at this rate!
I hope you hear back soon!

Interview letter
Hello everybody!
I'd like to thank everyone for contributing to this forum, since it's been incredibly helpful. I'm filing from Chicago and just received an interview letter in the mail today for August 8.
Here's my timeline:
PD: 9/6/2017 (Marriage-based to USC spouse, concurrently filed I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765, I-864, I-693, current status: H1B)
10/3/2017: Appointment for biometrics (walked in on an earlier date because I was out of town on the allotted date)
12/7/2017: I-131 / I-765 approved (received combo card shortly thereafter)
7/9/2018: Notice to appear for initial interview on August 8 (haven't received any text / e-mail / online updates yet)
Good luck to all those waiting! I'm sure you'll get through soon!

Yes! My office (Orlando) went from 14-26 months down to 8-22 months. I had a 1 month delay with a RFIE so hopefully here some good news in the coming weeks/monthOriginally posted by valsram038 View PostI literally checked this morning at 8AM with the agent from uscis and she told me processing times were 11 to 26 months in the Phoenix field office. Than I checked later today when I saw people taking about changes and saw the big jump! Hopefully we both get our interviews scheduled real soon! Good luck!

I'm a British Citizen married to a Floridian (living in FL).
The latest status of my case is that my interview is being scheduled (updated on November 2017)..
Still haven't heard a thing since then. Does any one know how long this could take?
I managed to speak to someone today who said the processing time is now 8 - 19 months?! Please tell me this isn't true D:
I want to visit my family in the UK and can't right now without filing for another form and paying a fee for that. Crazy!
I feel everyone's pain in waiting here haha!

Yes Orlando Area seems to be
The I693 won't be done until I get the interview date. I will share what the renewal EAD I797 notice will say. Just hope I can get to do its requirements before I return to work in Aug 2018. Based on what is shared here it seems Orlando's interview dates are going at a steady pace. My field office is Kendall Florida. They are very backlogged.Originally posted by amanda. Congratulations on having your interview scheduled!Originally posted by mustang85635 View PostInterview is scheduled on August 10th . Journey is coming to an end guys
I filed from Phoenix, I have been waiting for my interview to be scheduled since 10/18/2017. My PD is 9/12/2017. Hopefully mines scheduled soon!
Btw has anyone received a letter after submitted a status update? I received one that said the receipt # didn?t belong to me but I check all my receipts and it?s the same number. A little confusing.

The existing form has been sitting somewhere in USCIS for almost a year will end on July 18, 2018.
