There is nothing specific you need to do except to look for immediate employment. Some attorneys suggest that after you join new employer intimate the INS but its not necessary. Keep pay stubs from this employer and be on roll of a new employer as you might soon need Employment verification certificate from INS.

Paystub from old employer and new as well.
Most important as your case is soon due,get employment immediately, at least be on payroll of some company which should give you employment verification cert. saying that you are working with same skill sets with which you applied your labour before filing GC.

I485 Nebraska

Does anybody know what is wrong with the timing of INS Nebraska? Some of the websites show the processing dates as Jan 2001.

NSc Timing

talked to IIO. Says procesing April 2001 cases.
Expect September Reciept cases 5 months from now.
But seeing the speed from Jan to April .. and other stats expect Spetember cases in Dec begining.

One of my friend got approval notice recently.

Notice Date: August 14th 2001
Fingerprint Notice Date: April 3rd 2002
Fingerprint Appointment Date: may 13th 2002
Current Address: Columbus, OH
Approval Date: July 31st 2002

so, I question the information provided by NSC. My RD is Dec 2001 .....

IIO Information

nsci485, you are rightthat there are some approvals going on as per rupnet but all IIO's are saying that they are processing April cases.

Hope Sept cases turn come in Nov./Dec

EAD Renewed

EAD Renewal application approved on 20th Sept as per AVM.

NSC is fast on this. Approved within 15 days of filing.

Hope they pay attention to our 485 Application as well.

One of my colleague got approval notice recently...... today he is going for stamping....

Approval Date: September 5th 2001

485 NSC Fingerprint.

I filed in Aug 2001. I just got the notice for fingerprint on Sept 21, 2002. I hope this help.
