Been a silent reader for a while - this forum has been a blessing!

I'd finally sent my application package off and I haven't seen a May 2019 filer thread so I thought to start one to keep a track our progress!!

After refiling a couple of times due to issues, and getting USCIS to admit they screwed up....

Concurrent filing; I-485, I-130, I-130A, I-765, I131, I-864.

Package Sent: Thursday May 24th
Package received: Friday May 25th
I797C NOA Received: Monday June 3rd


Awaiting biometrics appointment, and I am also applying to expedite EAD through my congressman's office due to an immediate job offer.

ab_bey I'm also still waiting for any sort of communication. We sent our off on 5/16. They did however cash our check on 5/30 so I guess we sent it to the right place...

Hi guys,

May 14: I filed my application (I-485, I-130, I-130A, I-765, I-131, I-864)
May 16: They received it (priority date - unsure what that means)
May 20: I received a text update that they accepted my case and that a biometrics appointment was the next step.
May 21: I received Form I-797C (receipt)

I haven't received my biometrics appointment notice yet and haven't heard anything since May 21. Will keep you updated. My receipt number starts with MSC, which I believe is the National Benefit Center.

I filed from Los Angeles, CA.

gojev93 Good to hear that! So they accepted the application as the cheque is cashed! From reading through the forum, majority of applicants got updates within 10 -15 days. We filed the petition for parent's AOS. Will it take more time! And we send the package to Chicago office. Their return travel date is by mid next month. Hope will receive some update from USCIS in another week time. I wish at least they might have cashed the cheque!

I think it had to do with the issues I was getting. My docs were returned twice snd USCIS hadn't given me the proper info s to why. i complained through my congressman's office and my rep there escalated. He conceded to her they'd messed up and he personally asked for my tracking number, when it got there he was keeping her posted.

I think that the fact he was monitoring meant it was sped along a little.

Finally received receipt notices for I-485, I-131, I-765 in the mail today. I guess thsts good.

My documents (i485, i765, i131) were delivered to Dallas Lockbox on May 30th, 2019. However, I haven't received any notifications from them yet whatsoever. Just wanted to know if it is normal for this center. Thanks.
