Status is still the same for me. No progress on the 485 after biometrics. Wondering there is any update from anyone.

9/24/2020 - card charged
10/1/2020 - NOA received by mail for 485, 765 and 131
10/14/2020 - NOA received by mail for 485 J
10/16/2020 - USCIS contact center opened SR for missing biometrics notice (still no response)
11/21/2020 - Got the biometrics letter for Dec 11
12/11/2020 - Biometrics completed
12/17/2020 - 765 approved
12/21/2020 - Received combo card

Hi, How did you get USCIS contact center to open SR for missing bio-metrics notice?
I also didn't receive bio-metrics appointment.

My biometrics was done in December and got my EAD/AP combo card as well but there is no progress on 485 after that

Hey all,

I was reading this forum to get some information about greencard applications processing times and everything about it. I just wanted to share my experience in case someone can take some idea or info could take from it. Mine is asylum based adjustment.

July 2, 2020 sent my i485 and i131 application
July 15 recaived by NSC
August 2020 Biometrics done
September 2020 biometrics applied to my case
January 10 2021 Travel document received in the mail
January 15 2021 My greencard application transferred to new office. The notice in the mail said it is a standard processing and it was sent to NBC
February 17 2021 NBC ready to schedule interview and same day interview scheduled and they sent me a notice
March 17 2021 interview done and officer said he will send me a decision in two weeks———- he verified my name, birthday, address, where I work, if I have daily no or kids. The basic stuff already on the adjustment form. he asked me if I lied when I apply for a visa, I said no; asked me if I have criminal record I said yes and asked me what it is, told him I have dwi, driving after revocation, driving with no insurance, and a couple more traffic violation. He also checked my original passport, took the police report I took with me for the interview.

after interview, 1 hour, I received email notification in the email that case is approved. March 20 status changed to approved and mailed me approval letter.

March 22 status changed to card is sent to my address. Kind of fast guys.

New update:

3/23/21 - Filed an expedited request for EAP based on job offer. Also reached out to our local rep (AOC) to help (she sent a status request)
4/1/21- USCIS status updated to show "We ordered your new card." Hopefully, it will be the combo EAP/AP card.

Previous timeline:
08/27/20 - USCIS received I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131 (did not file I-944) at lockbox
09/15/20 - Charged my credit card for $1,760
09/20/20 - Received text confirmations for all forms
09/26/20 - Received NOA on all forms with notice date of 9/16/20
11/18/20 - Received RFE dated 11/12 for lack of i944 (no text or email notification)
11/23/20 - Mailed i944 and they acknowledged receipt on 11/27/20
12/26/20 - Received biometrics later dated 12/12/20 for appointment on 1/6/21 (no text or email notification)
1/6/21 - Biometrics Complete (Very easy, 10 minutes in and out)
1/8/21 - Case Status updated to show fingerprints were taken

That is terrible, what is your FO? Also, have you tried reaching out to your congressman/woman or Senator? Please reach out to USCIS or someone, this is far too long, sorry I am not trying to put salt on your wounds. Best of luck!

My field office is denver CO. I think my case it's still in NBC. I have tried to reach out to our congressman, however they said to expedite the case they need me to show evidence to I have financial hardship or financial loss. Since my husband has been working the whole time so I don't think my situation fits into any of these categories.

And two weeks ago I called USCIS they said they can not do anything because they didn't arrange the bio appointment. So I am going to call next week to ask to speak wiith a tier 2 officer to see if they can help me push this bio appointment.

Can you show you have a job offer, I have seen many times if you have a job offer USCIS often expedites the case. Denver FO is usually pretty fast, if your congressman is not helping try reaching out to your Senator. If one Senator doesn't help contact the other, that is why there are two in every state. Only you can be your own best advocate, make a compelling case for yourself. Good luck!

Currently I didn't have any job offer as over the past 8 months I only stayed at home. And we are moving to Denver in two months actually..so I think I will start looking once we settle down in Denver. Hopefully I can get the bio appointment before our moving. Thanks for your advice! If nothing happens yet I will definitely got try to contact Senator.

Did anyone see any positive movement? I didn't even receive the biometric notice yet. My friends on work based petition that filed after me, have their biometrics already done month ago.

I finally received the biometric notice. They sent it on 7/13 and scheduled for 8/9. Hope it goes well.
