Does the letter say if you need to go to the interview?
How long have you been married? Maybe they want to make sure that your marriage is real.

You need to bring all original documents that you already supplied plus any new document that you think they may ask for (recent loan, statement, tax return, or another document). Good luck.
Yes you are right. I already got GC a month ago but my husband received interview notification for next week. The letter just said if your eligibility is marriage based then spouse need to appear. My understanding is even though technically the I485 is employment based (based on my category), because his eligibility is still based on marriage I need to go anyway and bring all my docs as well. Almost seems we have to prepare this interview as one for EB as well as one for marriage based.

We have been married more than two years now but by the time we filed it's just more than one year so maybe they think it's not long enough?

We already supplied medicals so we don't have another one that's sealed. Will that be ok? The notice said to bring medicals if we haven't supplied so I assume that's ok but want to make sure.

Also for any support we already submitted but requested in the interview notice, should we still bring them anyway?

    Hello!

Has anyone faced this situation? Dependent haven't received the Biometrics appointment letter whereas the Primary has received the appointment letter and provided the biometrics, no updates so far for dependent is it normal or do I have to contact the USCIS? Parallelly I applied for the H4 and H4 EAD renewal on Feb 2021, since it was expiring on June 2021, and that got approved on September and received the EAD card(note no biometrics was taken). Let me know if I am missing any process! Thanks!

A response has been sent on Sep 06, 2021 for the inquiry filed for I140. Lawyer has not yet received the response. Remaining inquiries have not been processed yet.
Thanks. Do let us know when your lawyer receives the word. Might be something in it for all of us. I'll do the same if I hear anything.

So do you mean that I would be considered for this fiscal year filing even if the medicals reach before 09/30 ? USCIS receipt date of medicals matters here to be considered for GC in this fiscal ?

They just need your medical sealed envelope to approve your GC. If they receive the RFE letter with your sealed envelope soon, they will approve your GC before 9/30. Good luck.

Need your inputs. My case moved as follows-

    I-485 received by USCIS- 30th Oct 2020
    Receipt generated- March 4th 2021
    Fingerprinting done- March 18, 2021
    EAD Received- April 2021

After this, there has been no movement. Recently I got RFE to submit medicals and it says ' SUBMIT ASAP TO BE CONSIDERED IN THE VISA ALLOCATION FOR THIS FISCAL YEAR WHICH ENDS ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2021'
What does this mean ? So if I send it now and it reaches say 7 days before 30th will I be considered. How to know if I am considered for this fiscal year's allocation or no ?

If not this year, what are the consequences ?

    Please help.

    Regards,
    Kay
This means that you can. be approved in this fiscal year's quota. In other words, your case is ready to get a GC and they just need your medicals. If you send them before Sep 30 they may approve before that date.

If you don't, then they will take time to see your category, then see if the visa bulletin changed for October, then check if there is a visa (GC) for your category and then approve your GC.

If they approve your GC with this year's quota, then they will waste less and your GC will not count to next year. That will help someone else to get a GC next year (if there is no waste then).

In short, if you send your medicals soon, you will get your GC in a couple of weeks, if you delay sending the medicals, they may take more time to finish reviewing your case because they will try to finish with the most GC possible this year, so your GC will be approved weeks (months?) later.

Not sure what to do now except continue to wait for AP and EAD. I even added an inquiry last month. No response.
Anyone know if there's anything to be done when EAD and AP are 'past due' normal processing times?

There is no way to know how long it will take. I have read cases that take a few days, others a few weeks, and some even a few months. I hope your dependent get the GC soon.

Hi - When I contacted Emma this morning, Agent told me that my case is moved to NBC to Houston FO. Is it a good thing? Anyone has similar experience. Appreciate if you can share the timelines too after case is moved to Houston FO? Thanks in advance.
