Timeline:

No, the online status has not changed for my dependents, though received medical RFEs for them.

I contacted USCIS via Emma chat today, and the agent’s response is that my medical RFE is not yet issued.
so I asked her if I can submit mine proactively with all my dependents who are given a timeline to submit.

She told me that I can do that, but it is not recommended as i693/medical report is tracked using the RFE only. So I may end up receiving a RFE later when again I have to respond.

so it’s confusing!

USCIS is weird. It makes no sense to ask for dependents I-693 but not principal. Dependents should not be approved until principal is approved, but there are cases where minor dependents are approved for GC before principal and adult dependents. So strange.

We received RFE for I-693 twice. The second time was before 2 years from the first, so in theory still valid. Who knows why. They approved our GCs in August so, thanks to the 4 year extension for medicals, our case was approved with 2 current and valid I-693. So I know about strange things.

Good luck, I will not send my I-693 without an RFE, just be patient and every week ask Emma about your RFE. Hope you get your RFE soon.

USCIS sent RFEs for medical for our family. One set of letters to our home and another to the lawyer. We received all letters, the lawyer only received the dependents and not the principal. We were able to respond using the letter that arrived at home. The lawyer filed a request to receive another letter but I don't know if they got it.

All - Any idea about how soon HOUSTON FO is processing the I485 cases? Just got to know from Emma that my case is transferred to Houston FO from NBC.

12/31/2020 Application resubmitted with medicals and received by USCIS

my PD is EB3 India March 2014. I got my EAD last month. I was expecting October 2021 Vb to move forward by many months, but Charlie announced it won’t change.

Any idea why? Is it due to Meng bill?

I have not received an approval yet. I am following another group on track itt forums that is for members who sent RFE response to Raleigh FO and that FO is very very weird, approving some cases within a week and some waiting for more than 3 weeks now including me.

Something new I noticed just today, this FO has been giving very different timelines for responding back to the RFE. I got 3 months but some other only got 30-45 days and it seems their responses are being processed faster. Not sure if others have noticed this and what kind of timeline did the FO give to respond back to the RFE
