Congrats..! When did the 140 you applied for your EB1 get approved. Trying to understand approximately how long after your 140 was approved your 485 was approved? Also was your 485 case transferred to the same location as your 140 before it was approved?

EADs (combo card) after expedition for self and family received in May 2021 and June 2021 respectively
July 1st - I 485 - New Card Being produced for self and RFE for family. EMMA could not tell
me what the RFE was for. Waiting for their RFE now.

The I-140 dates mentioned above are approval dates. I-485 was applied on 21st Oct2020 and the receipt date is 26thOct2020. Accordingly, it is 8 months exactly from the receipt date of I-485.

485 Filing date 10/12/2020

Receipt date 10/26/2020

485j fee waiver 11/10/2020

medical RFE requested 02/26/2021

Biometrics - 04/13/2021

I-765/I-131 - card being produce -06/30/2021

I-765/I-131 - application approved - 07/01/2021

I-485 -Card being produced - 07/01/2021




Hoping they approve I-485 soon and send the card soon.

Update - Status changed to "New card is being produced". PD - 2/29/19, AOS filing 10/29/20, FP - 03/05/21, RFE for Medicals received - 6/11/21, Responded on 6/24/21.

What does “The card is being produced” mean for I-485 application when your I-765/I-131(EAD/AP) is still pending and showing no updates since finger prints?

I believe you are directly getting your GC instead of EAD.

Once you are an legal immigrant (GC holder), then these forms are of no use anymore. They will be closed or marked something like "Benefit provided by other means"

Assume a day or two to produce the card (USPS tracking number will be made available online) & then the time USPS will take to deliver it, assume 3-4 days.
