I-765 expedite request approved yesterday. A question for those who had expedite request approved: Did they send cards only for the applicants or the dependents cases went together?

Hi all, after biometrics on March 23, I received I-485J RFE yesterday directly and my lawyer did not receive it. However, I don't see any case status being updated on the USCIS website. I have not received EAD/AP card so far. Is it all normal?

Yes I received that as well . Based on my discussion with my attorney it is a receipt notice for I 485J supplement that we submitted along with the I 485 application package . According to my attorney no action is required if there is no change in job. There will be a separate receipt number if you look at it the status will be fee waived or something on that line.

My lawyer did not submit I485J earlier. So USCIS has sent RFE and asked for filling. My point is the case status is still same and is not saying RFE sent.

Dont think case status will change until you provider all required documents (including I485J - bonafide job offer) to USCIS. Once they receive all documents, they will either send you EAD/AP (if applied) or if PD is current they will schedule interview for I485. However many folks have gotten GC without interview as well. Next case status will change accordingly for EAD or 485 approval/interview scheduled stage. Hope this helps.

I have a question on the birth certificate.
I submitted my wife's birth certificate obtained from state TamilNadu, India . In last 2-3 years they have stopped providing a copy with manual signatures. Now it is all digital signatures only
and the certificate is also digital certificate only.

I obtained the copy while submitting my i-485 along with my wife 485 . My lawyer said this is fine and so i have submitted.

Now i have question or doubt in my mind if this will cause any issues. Have anyone submitted the birth certificate where we obtained from municipal office in digital format with digital signature,
Instead of municipal officer signing manually.

Keralite here. I have submitted the digital copy in Oct 2020, downloaded from govt website as I had never seen my original birth certificate. I received my biometrics appointment for June 11, a week ago.

Those on the forum must have noticed that I just got my employment based GC last week. My spouse is outside US and will be applying for consular processing. I just received a new job offer to join on August 1^st. If I change my job now, will it affect my spouse’s consular processing? Or once you get green card, it does not matter. Very worried about it and I can’t find any convincing answer.

Ya I am in the same scenario ... I finished my biometrics last week . I am worried if they will ask birth certificate during the interview ? will they accept this as the birth certificate . In few states in India its only going to digital format goingforth .

I have question on medicals (i693), if the TB blood test is positive and the Xray is clear (negative). Does the civil surgeon, marked this as Class B latent TB in the i693 ? Many of you might faced this as this is very common for people from many part of Asia and Africa. My Doctor gave the report as no active tuberculosis. But the civil surgeon is marking this as Class B TB in the form. Did anyone experience this ? was there any follow up question arises from USCIS due to this ? Please update.

Most of the Asian have this situation, who got vaccination while they were kids. Its not a problem.
