I can't see that there's anything they can do. I have no basis on which to request to expedite. Just a waiting game. I did speak to an agent who reeled off a standard response.

USCIS has the sole discretion to determine which office will process your case. you can request your case to be transferred to another office. You must make a transfer request with the new office where you want the case moved. That office has the discretion to grant or deny your request. If the office grants your transfer request, you will be informed about what you need to do and what to expect, including how long the process may take. If the office does not grant your transfer request, you will need to follow any other instructions you receive from the office where the case is currently located.

1 whole year since my case was updated...3 days short of 17 months since I applied for AOS..... :-(

Thank you! any updates on your RFE response yet?

No. It's now 2 months. I have an option to upgrade it to premium beginning of Jul but the premium processing is 45 days unlike 15 days in all other cases so I'm wondering if I should spend $2500 or just wait as it would be 105 days since my RFE response would have been received by that time.

If you haven't submitted your medicals and if your 140 is already approved and your 485 was recently transferred out of Nebraska, this RFE would most likely be for medicals. All the best. I would suggest you block the time with a USCIS approved for for completion of medical so you can get it done soon after and respond. All the best again.

3. Biometric: 10/14/2021
4. Combo card: 12/14/2021
5. Social card for kid: 1/14/2022
6. I-140 Approval: 3/14/2022
7. I-485 Case transferred to NBC: 5/26/2022 (Exactly after a year submitting I-485)
8. RFE for medicals: 6/14/2022
9. RFE responded (likely): 6/24.

Guys this is SURREAL!!! My case has finally changed status to "New Card Being Produced"

Case transfer from NBC to NSC: June 2021
Case transfer NSC to NBC: 12th May 2022
Case transfer to FO: 24th May 2022
Case status update to "New card being produced": 10th June 2022

I hope and wish everyone gets their cases approved soon. I know and cannot imagine how stressful this journey is... Thanks guys and SPECIAL THANKS SHIVA...

My I-140 got approved 10days back in Texas, After that my kids I-485s are transferred to National Benefits Centre, but mine and my wife’s I -485s are still with Texas in Biometric status. Does anybody faced the similar situation?
