I-485 - Case was transferred to a new jurisdiction

EB1C I485 application transferred to New York field office on the 24th of May 2022. Back in June 2021, my 485 was transferred from NBC to NSC and then in May-2022, it was transferred from NSC to NBC and now from NBC to field office. Not sure what is going on... How long before I can hear back? Any thoughts. Please share.

Need a suggestion - I responded to a RFE for my EB1C I140 on May 02nd. USCIS will now allow me to submit a premium processing request for my pending I140 starting Jul 01. It will already be 60 days since my RFE response was filed by then. I'm wondering if it's worth spending $2500 to request for premium processing of my RFE response (which would mean my case would be processed in another 15 days from then) or just wait as it would have been 75 days since I submitted my RFE response by then.
I have an EAD/AP combo card so my motivation to get my I140 processed quickly is with a hope that my 485 would be picked up for processing shortly after. I still have not submitted my medicals, as recommended by my attorney to wait until I get a RFE so significant time is expected for processing of my 485 even if it's picked for processing shortly after.

What would be your recommendation?

yup...my case got transferred to Nebraska in April 2021...which now has a processing time of 32 months.....Phoenix, where it was originally filed, has a processing time of 15 months.....they transferred my case "in order to speed up processing"....what a joke!

I think you should speak to Emma and raise an SR if you don't hear a good news from a live agent.

Following is my timeline, don't how long need to wait

- i140 filled in May-2020 with EB1C at Nebraska
- i485 filed in Oct-2020 at NBC without medicals
- i485 transferred to Nebraska in Feb-2021
- Bio-metric done beginning Apr-2021
- i140 approved end of Apr-2021
- EAD/AP received in Aug-2021
- Waiting for 485 approval, almost 19 month passed

At the beginning of May, Nebraska center was processing 10-Oct-2020 cases, on 6th May date outside normal processing date moved to 30-Aug-2022 and now it has been moved by 2 years. I don't know how long need to wait and what is the processing pattern USCIS apply.

I have seen people around me who filed 485 along with me or after me already got their GC, the only difference is their application was not transferred to Nebraska, their application sent to local FO. Local FO already passed Oct-2020 date and their 80% processing time is 14 months..

yup...my case got transferred to Nebraska in April 2021...which now has a processing time of 32 months.....Phoenix, where it was originally filed, has a processing time of 15 months.....they transferred my case "in order to speed up processing"....what a joke!

Sure, mine was approved in Nebraska on 3/9/2022.

3-4 weeks. If you have already submitted your medicals then you can expect to get an approval for your 485 within the next 4 weeks. All the best.
