    from my RFE

All forms I-693 signed by civil surgeons on or after October 1, 2021 must use the 09/13/21 edition. USCIS will not accept the 07/15/19 version if the civil surgeon signed the I-693 on or after October 1, 2021

Now that makes no sense to me because mine was signed before October 21 so that shouldn't really apply (another case of inconsistency from USCIS)

but, it does seem to suggest you might need a new one. do you know which edition you submitted? If you have a copy, the edition is at the bottom of each page

yup...I actually received the RFE while I was on holiday so managed to read It properly when I returned at the weekend. The new medical I need is because they changed the I-693 form in October 2021 so any I-693 forms prior to that are no longer valid. Bad news is I tested positive with Covid so I have to wait until I test negative to actually get the medical. The RFE letter says

Although processing times cannot be guaranteed, if you seek completion of your case by the end of this fiscal year (Sept 30, 2022), we strongly advise you to submit your complete form I-693 as soon as possible via express mail

They need it by 15th of August and it has to go to my immigration attorneys first...so timing will be tight!!

My i485 was transferred from Nebraska to nbc on july13 . Today the ead got approved . Usually for applications that they approve gc, they don’t give ead.does it mean we won’t get out gc this year?

    Hello,

Sorry if this is deviating from the original post: I recently received a notification (through USCIS website, on 20th) that my case has been transferred to another office and now jurisdiction. Upon chatting with USCIS agents, I got a strange update that the transfer receipt has been issued but my AOS application is still with Nebraska. Is this something others have seen?

    Thanks,
    -S

Yes, I noticed. There is a technical glitch which doesn't allow me to raise a SR. I'm trying to reach out to USCIS regarding that through my attorney.

Interestingly my status changed saying that a notice was returned back to USCIS because USPS couldn't deliver it. I believe it's the notice regarding the previous SR but don't know why it won't be delivered to me.

Typically within a month you can expect some processing on your case. It would be 485 approval if your medical is already submitted. Good luck.
