To, AlienKanpur :- Yes of course Sir. We all have to monitor on a daily basis. Personally, if I get to know something , I shall put it on the forum immediately.Originally posted by AlienKanpur View Post
As per my understanding of the working of NVC, August DQ beneficiaries should begin to get messages later in the night today or maybe by Tuesday morning. Please keep the forum informed as when the interview letters are received. Best wishes.
On the subject , I would take this opportunity to remind everyone to ensure that their Police Clearance Certificate is obtained and kept ready.
This is one document that takes about 21 days { a kind member has already mentioned this earlier }. Since the three visits namely, MEDICALS, BIOMETRICS & ACTUAL INTERVIEW, have a very tight time frame , it would be nice to have the PCC ready, so one can travel to Mumbai immediately.
With best wishes and regards to all.

Please go on the NVC website. You will find the link to reschedule your parent's interview appointment.
Alternatively, you can go to the website of the Mumbai Consulate and you will find the link for rescheduling your interview appointment.
Wishing you the best. With regards.

As per my understanding the NVC does not come into picture at all for rescheduling of a missed interview. You will have to go to the Mumbai Consulate website and look for the slots available. It will be a little difficult to find a slot for rescheduling the interview. The link given below might be of some help. Please do update once you are successful in rescheduling, because we all need to be on guard, as this could happen to anyone. Best wishes.Originally posted by sjohal View Posthello Everyone,

Better get in touch with NVC immediately. Beneficiaries who were documentary qualified till July 28 have got interview calls. Be clear about the date of application and the the date NVC sent you a mail regarding becoming documentary qualified/Originally posted by akr501 View PostMy parents DQ date is April mid 2020. There is no such thing as priority date for parents of US citizens(IR-5). There is no cap so the priority date becomes current immediately. What matters is the date when the case was classified as documentary qualified.Originally posted by akr501 View PostI have applied for my parents with priority date of Jan 2020 and still waiting on the interview dates.

To, dishapatel04 :- By the time your interview date comes in, your PCC will be almost having just 3 months validity. I suggest to play absolutely safe, please apply for a new PCC, which will show a much longer validity and the chances of a problem on the day of the interview would be far lesser.Originally posted by dishapatel04 View PostHi everyone
My PCC issuance date is July 2021 and my Dq date Sept 2020 . Do i have to apply for new PCC?
Wishing you the very best.
With regards.

Dear Disha, the dates mentioned by you do not make sense to me, unless you got a fresh PCC after you got documentarily qualified. Assuming that your dates as mentioned are correct, you are likely to be done with all formalities before July 2021. You can keep an eye on the updates in this forum and see how the DQ date is moving forward. Hopefully August cases should be taken up in February and September in March. THIS IS ONLY A SPECULATION, NOTHING CAN BE PREDICTED WITH CERTAINTY. Best wishes.Originally posted by dishapatel04 View PostHi everyone

To, akr501 :- If your parent's DQ date is April 2020, it is best that you contact NVC on phone number **-603-334-0700. If calling from India, the best time to start calling is after 5.30 PM, Indian Standard Time. They work as per Eastern Standard Time from 7.00 AM to midnight, Monday to Friday. Usually you will have a wait time of about 30 to 40 minutes. But, they will most definitely let you know on phone, why you have not received your interview email. Alternatively, you can email the NVC as well. They usually reply in 48 to 72 hours. Their email ID is :- [email protected]Originally posted by akr501 View PostMy parents DQ date is April mid 2020. On this forum, parent's whose DQ was April 2020 have already gone through the interview process and some whom I have known have already reached the US after a successful interview.
Also, kindly ensure that the NVC email has not gone to your Spam Folder.
We are all in a line and it is indeed surprising that your case has been not picked up so far.
Here's wishing you Good Luck. It would be kind of you if you can keep us updated as to what happens.
With regards.
