It would be better to choose an alternate city and book a slot. Keep trying but log in only 4 times a day as you might get blocked for 72 hours if you login too many times in a day.
You will eventually see a slot open in the city you prefer.
I was given only 9 days notice for the interview and still managed to get a slot. All the best.

Hello Everyone,
I have question on IR5 category. My Mother-In-Law's DQ is Nov 2020 and Father-in-law's DQ is Feb 2021. I see IR5 category ppl getting interview in March for DQ is Oct 2020. So my question is shall Embassy pick my Mother-In-Law's DQ date (Nov 2020) of my Father-in-law's DQ date (Feb 2021) for scheduling interview ?
Thanks

Thanks. Actually my Mother-In-Law's DQ date is 9th Nov 2020 (mistakenly wrote Sept 2020). I have corrected that on my original post too. So if that's case then shall I expect that embassy will consider my Mother-In-Law's DQ date (Nov 2020) and not Father-In-Law's DQ date ( Feb 2021)?

PCC if you haven't get that doneOriginally posted by MOMO216 View PostMy Mother DQ Date is December 23, 2020. Looks like a month or so away to receive Interview Letter. Can someone advice, if something that I can complete while waiting for IL? I know they barely give 2 weeks notice to appear in interview.

If the petition was filed for both on same day, then they will call both of them together, considering your mother in law’s DQ date.Originally posted by sabbyrent View PostHello Everyone,

To All the Forum Members :-
Today we finished our IR5 Visa Interview at the Mumbai Consulate and were granted our Visa.
Due to a family emergency situation and the running around for Medicals, Biometrics and Interview preparation, I could not give any updates for the past ten days. I am truly sorry.
The Visa took three hours and thirty minutes in all.
In at 8.30 AM and out at 12.00 PM. We stayed at the Trident, just opposite the Consulate.
Shall post further details in the next two days.
For the immediate record, my wife was not asked any questions. The documents checked were :-
1) Interview Letter 2) Passport 3) Photos NOT ASKED FOR. 4) Original Birth Certificate for both the Applicants and the Petitioner { that is our son }
5) Financial Documents ; W2 and 1040 { fort Financial Years } 6) Police Clearance latest Original 7) Our Original Marriage copy.
With regards to All.
