Is Mumbai consulate scheduling interviews for IR5 (Parent of a U.S. citizen)

Mom finished interview this morning and got her visa approved ..Her appointment was at 7:30am and she came out by 9:00..basic questions were asked like what I do and names of grand kids ..this forum has been greatly helpful ..We haven’t submitted new PCC ..old one was issued in dec 2020.

Thats a good news yankee25. Congrats. Almost an year and half old PCC was accepted. An encourraging thing for many who are worried on this issue. Probably the authorities have become little lenient on PCC validity after Jan22.

I used the one that filed for document qualification ..not new one . Also I tried to accompany my mom but they did not allow me inside even if I am the petetioner

My parents finished their medical and vac app today, the forum has been very helpful. Their interview is May 6th. For medical, they needed past medical report , ds260 , interview letter, passport and 4 passport photos.
For fingerprinting - ds 260, il letter, passport and 1 passport photo.

We did select the home premium delivery option for passport but we are still getting a email from ustravel docs that this option is now available and we can pick this from our dashboard . But when I get to the account, I don't see this option. Thinking because we already opted to this. Is anyone getting these emails too ?

Dear cpandya, you can request on the CEAC portal for expediting the process. However, expediting is generally not accepted. From the little knowledge that I have, your application can be accepted if and only if there is an issue of life threatening medical condition or some life changing event (such as marriage of the petitioner) coming up. If Parents are going together at the same time, Do we need to give them 2 separate copies of petitioners documents?

Did you just take the print out of signed documents or signed them with Pen again?

Has Mumbai embassy sent a new IL for previously cancelled interviews to anyone?
My parents missed our consular interview (IR5) on Apr 11th, 2022. we are not able to reschedule a new one as no dates are showing up. Now the biometric and medical tests are done.
