I was just told by our immigration people at UCD that they have received an approved labor certification which was submitted on March 30, 2009.

Mine was submitted April 30, 2009, so I hope in a short while I will be switching to the I-140 thread....

I'll post an update as I learn more!

If Labor has been approved for March 30, 2009 on Jan 15th 2010, does it mean it has started to process fast now? Is it gonna be applications for two months will be covered in a month time? Isn't it good news?

From what I have seen, the actual date does not really matter. Only the month. I think DOL just picks up all applications for a particular month and processes them irrespective of order - this is what I saw so far for Jan and Feb.

I wish / hope what you are saying is correct, but I do not see much evidence for that..

Just got call from my Employer that my PERM was approved and my application date is March 10th. .

That's less than 10 months.

At least that confirms that March is going on now. April, May and June - 3 more months for mine - applied in June 2009.

Got my perm approved today! March 10th

Just got call from my Employer that my PERM was approved and my application date is March 10th. .

That's less than 10 months.

Rumor is that there were a lot less PERM applications in 2009. If that is true by any means, then we should start seeing the approvals faster.

I am not sure if there is any way to find out. Keeping fingers crossed.

Has any March one's come through? February started in October, cant believe DOL is taking 3 months for each month of labor applications.

Mine is in June actually.

Applied Feb 19th, got approved on Dec 30th
