March'13, April '13 and May'13 are the worst hit months for the sample of my analysis. For these months many cases are still pending and the processing is ultra slow. All these pending cases are on 2nd or later conveyors having missed the 4-5 weeks window:

Since 10th of July: 20 Cases from May Cleared (Avg. 7 case per week)
Since 10th of June: 21 Case of April Cleared (Avg. 3.5 case per week)
Since 10th of May: 19 Cases of March Cleared (Avg 1.8 cases per week)

    Conveyor Analogy:

June'13 is doing pretty good so far. It has 336 cases pending and the processing lot is still at 10th of June. I'm of the view that it would come to the stable level of 75-80 pending cases by 1st week of July.

221G in process and apply again based on recent h1 extension

Is it possible to again go for visa interview to the same consulate based on the new I797 received for H1 extension with same employer when earlier stamping is still in 221G.

    Appreciate any response/views.

    Read about Rejections after 221(g)

I have read few posts about rejections after 221(g), not specific to students visa but in general. By Rejection I meant visa not issued. I have seen cases where the candidate appeard for visa interview visa denied and then again applied for visa and got it approved, this whole process took around 2 years. But eventually he got it. But rejections are very possible, but the ratio of denial to sucess is very very less.

I haven't....especially if they put it in 221g for more than a few weeks it almost always gets approved eventually. Also when you say "rejected" you mean the visa was denied and passport returned or was it just a "refused" status on CEAC site? I ask cuz there's a difference. It has been confirmed by DOS that the CEAC site is still being developed hence many cases are incorrectly showing up as "refused" even though they are still pending administrative processing....

And if it infact it was rejected, pls try and share the details....why? any reason given from their end? was the candidate really genuine?? etc etc...

    Thanks
