H1-H4 Visa Stamping Tracker

8 April 2019 I have drop boxed my passport for stamping. 17 April 2019 I have received passport along with blue slip to attend interview, 29 April 2019 I have attended interview. VO asked basic questions regarding client name, employer name . Asked LCA, i129 I have provided all those documents. Again he asked few questions regarding my annual salary replied incorrect salary number by mistake. So he went inside for few minutes and came out and gave me a blue slip to wait out side. After few minutes and Indian lady officer called me to another counter and asked my last 3 paystubs, last 3 years w2. She figured out that 2017 year I have got less salary. I replied to her that 2017 my client got changed, so the salary decision is between employer and client. She replied me back please wait outside. After few minutes later vo officer called me and gave a blue slip and said we got all documents from you now. Need to do further verification we we let you know if need anything from you.

Good Morning! My H1B is for Extension. Initially I got a drop box option as i am eligible, I submitted by documents on May 17th 2019 at hyderabad Consulate . I had submitted my old I -797 which is valid till August 2019 and submitted new I-797 and the rest of the Need full documents. Got a status update on May 21st as VO is reviewing my documents and on May 22nd there is another update the VO has called me for an interview which is 221g but did not mentioned any slip in the mail. During my interview the VO ask me the client letter, LCA and I - 797 and asked to wait at the waiting area. Few minutes later i got invited at another counter there is an Indian lady she told that your case is still needs some additional processing before any final decision was made and handed me the documents which i had submitted to VO officer. The status update is like your case is last updated on June 3rd and it's in Administrative Processing, since then there is no update ... Any comments ..?

Attended interview today. vO said it’s approved. But status showing as administrative processing. Hope it will be issues next week. Update 06/03- Visa status updates to issued. Waiting for passport pickup

I am planning to go India for my H1B stamping (renewal). I do not have an option for 'drop-box' as i have the text "Clearance received" on my initial H1B visa stamp. I only got to select the finger prints at Hyderabad and visa interview at Chennai. Is it unusual to have 2 different locations selected for finger prints and visa interview? Please help me as i am very much worried as i did not see anyone with such scenario previously. Also how is the H1B visa extension rate at Chennai? I am still working for the same client.

Notes: Jan 28th: Submitted document for visa extension Feb 3rd: Received passport with 221G asking to appear for interview Feb 4th: Appeared for interview. Consular gave a slip about SEVIS and told me the processing is to update info on SEVIS on F1 to H1B visa transfer. Cases put into admin processing Case updated on Feb 15th and Feb 24th. Current status: Administrative Processing: Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted.
