Received 221g white slip no documents asked VO told that they will contact me/petitioner Not sure about the timeline for Administrative processing ? status update website states that it may take several weeks :(

Selected in 2016 lottery . Attended interview appointment on 28th Aug 18. VO asked basic question like: Salary Location Client details etc and issued 221(g) white slip asking for I797 and Client letter. Submitted the new client letter on 11th sept 18 Received an auto acknowledgement immediately. Case is showing under Administrative Processing and last status date changed to 12th sept 18 no updates till then.

Hi, My husband and me attended the US visa interview on 24 Sept 18, VO said our visa was approved and we could collect our passports. When were about to leave Chennai after the interview we got a call from consulate if we could attend 2nd interview and they could give us gate pass, as we did not know if it was a legit call and were on our way back home we told we wont be able to & asked to send an email on the same. We sent a mail to US consulate to inquire on the call. On 28 Sept 18 they responded saying 221(g) will be sent & we need to attend another interview at Chennai. Do anybody have any experience on the same?

221(g) White Form Requested - In Interview VO asked basic questions like employer,client,worklocation,pay. On the Same day i recived call from consulate and asked me to submit clientletter , Document submission date- June 15th 2018. Client received a email and call from DOS- Client had replied back to DOS email on 3rd July 2018 . CEAC last updated date changed to July-05-2018 , after that no updates :(

I went for interview on 09/05/2018. It went well and Visa officer approved visa and kept the passport. After couple of hours I received an email to submit a questionnaire(DS-5535) and got back my passport with green slip after couple of days. The case status shows administrative processing. Received Notification about completion of administrative processing and request for passport on 9/14/2018 Submitted passport on 9/17/2018 Visa Issued 9/19/2018 Passport received on 9/20/2018

First time H1B. Scheduled the interview with H4 (wife & daughter dependent). 12-Mar-2018 : On Interview date, the V.O first asked the family members to leave the place or wait. He asked about end-client letter & offer letter. (which I did not have). Given a blue slip 221g about the Project details. 15-Mar-2018 case appeared in CEAC website administrative processing. 18-Apr-2018 : Reminder Email from consulate. 20-May-2018: Second Reminder Email from Consulate. After three months (15-May-2018) employer send the PDF documents to Consulate. Now more than 100 days status remain same. Send the status inquiry twice getting the same reply that my case is in Administrative processing.

Went for H1 stamping interview on Jun 19th.This is my 3rd stamping .all other stamppings has been successful .VO just asked if I work for client and salary Immediately she took a paper and started checking some checkboxes .She issues me 221g with my and company documents to be submitted .My paralegal team submitted documents on Jun 29th.Since then I havent heard anything .any idea how long it generally takes.Also i was carrying most of the documents related to me but VO wanted all to be sent through an email .Its so frustrating to wait :( .any one gone through similar situation please share how long it took for your case. Finally the case is approved .Here's the timeline Jun 19 - Interview Jun 29 - Sent documents Aug 23 - Date got changed for the first time Sept 4 - Client got email for verification Sept 5- client replied back Sept 7 - got email to submit passport Sept 10 - Passport submitted and sept 12 - Visa issued ,Passport collected on Sept 14th and back to US by Sept 15th

Hi, I worked for 6 months in US on H1b visa and then returned to India.Recently I lost my passport and then applied for new passport.I got the Passport.But I didn't inform the US consulate.Now I want to go for renewal of my h1b visa. What is the process I have to follow to inform US consulate to lost my H1b stamping Passport? Is there any issues without informing the US consulate and go for stamping?
