Incorrect H1b Expire Date
I got my H1B Visa stamped on 20th October 2022 in New Delhi VAC (Dropbox). My H1B Visa was issued on October 26th 2022.
The expiration date printed on the H1B issued Visa is 2nd April 2023 but the Petition Expiration Date (PED) as mentioned on I-797 is August 5th 2025.
Has anyone else faced similar issue in the past and if so how did they go about resolving it. Thanks in advance.

Regarding H1B transfer
Hi All,
Iam working in TCS INDIA.
Outside consulting company filed H1 and it got Approved.
Iam thinking to ask TCS if it can transfer my H1.
Is there any possibility that my H1 can be revoked by consulting company which filed it? as iam transferring my H1 even before going for stamping?
Any information is highly appreciated

221g **** noir **** reaffirmation notice ***** now i 129 expired*****h1b visa stamping
Hi when I went for visa interview , I got 221g refusal
then I received NOIR
upon responding NOIR , I received reaffirmation letter for approval of petition
now I want to appear for visa interview but my I 129 expiry date is too close to get dates.
I dont know what choices I have. Please guide if any expericence

COS from L1 to H1B - After October 1st
I am currently on L1B with Company A.
Company B has sponsored the H1B and filed the petition with COS.
I am still waiting for my H1B petition approval.
As October 1 has past, can I still give 2 weeks of notice period to my current employer A and join Company B after 2 weeks ?
Or
I have to leave company A immediately when H1B COS is approved ?

Reentry issues - Over speeding and Reckless driving (Misdemeanor)
Hi,
One of my friend got caught speeding and he needs to take Speeding charges or Reckless charges which will results in Suspension of License and DMV points.
Did any one had any experience with there Visa interview / GC Process / Citizenship and Port Of Entry (issues if any?) after convicting for Reckless driving and Over speeding ( Which is a Misdemeanors in the state of VA and NC).
Any experience sharing will be able to help to keep his mind at rest.

Hello,
I am going to file a H1B petition this month but my passport expiration date is March 2023. I have a question regarding my petition.
is approving H1B, will they consider passport expiration date? normally, i797 would approve based on the project duration which mentioned on the LCA. but apart from that will they consider passport expiration date also? I also applied for a passport renewal and will get it in next month. Do I need to wait till I get new passport or going to file the H1B petition this month?

H-1b visa holder (Primary Applicant) is eligible for an in-person interview and only H-4 visa holder (Dependent Applicant) is eligible for drop box.
Can a dependent visa holder (H-4 Visa Holder) give up her drop box and go with H-1b visa holder (Primary Applicant) for an in-person interview or should we schedule individual appointment as per eligibility?

Need to renew i94 - Should I goto nearby border CBP office?
Hello. I have my i94 nearing expiry even though I have a valid visa. During my entry to the US, which expires at the start of next year. So, they stamped my i94 to be valid till my Passport expiry. Now I have renewed my passport and it is valid for another 10 years. Now, I wanted to extend my i94. Can I go to any border CBP office and get it stamped? Please help me with your expert input and guidance.

Admin Processing - There is no status update available for the passport number submitted

I had my in person interview on 22nd August, Officer handed me a white slip 221G however mention that I should hear back in a week. I havent got any notification yet. Initially cgi website showed my passport was with the Embassy however now it says There is no status update available for the passport number submitted. The support desk says my passport is still with the embassy though. Is there a way to track this and how long would this take?

While waiting for H1B approval in this lottery process, H4 EAD can be applied for the same applicant ?

I need some direction, I spouse hold h4 EAD for 2+ years and never able to work due to medical issues, so when my spouse is ready this year earlier, H4 EAD was expired so we applied H1B using consultancy and its been picked. Now I see the status is still in reviewing state, and there is no ETA for the approval as we know about their own process times.
My actual ask here is, Is it good to extend the H4 EAD which expired in this condition while H1b Lotter in hand but not yet approved ?
Kindly pour some knowledge on this, that would be helpful for us to take some decision.
