H1b stamping at chennai on 11/17/15
Hello,
While attending an interview my advice is to follow 3 things.
1. Avoid being late.
2. Have proper documentation
3. Don't get tense and finally don't worry about dressing and makeup your not attending a movie audition.
I went to interview wearing a jeans and polo with my company logo on it.

I was asked only 4 questions.
Which company, are you directly hired, which univ u got ur masters, how is education over there. That's it

My suggestion is just try to answer short and crisp. Don't try to dig your own hole to impress.

H1B stamping @Delhi - Just a cake walk
Let me start by thanking immihelp.com forums and its member for sharing their experiences. Reading so many experiences really helped me to prepare myself well and also calm down my nerves before interview.

I will skip the OFC part as it just a normal finger printing and photograph process.
I took my interview in Delhi consulate on 14th dec. My time was 10:30 but i reached there 9 AM. For those travelling by their cars , there is ample parking space in front of Australian embassy which is just 1 km away from US embassy, you can easily get auto from there. Preferably reach on your time only because they usually overshot there time-slots because of rush.

The most important thing is you should be very well dressed, formal suit with tie and formal shoes and preferably a costly looking watch. Believe me these things add up to 50 percent of your selection process.

Interview round:

A 30-32 years guy called me for interview and took my passport which had stapled I-797

Me: Good morning sir, how are you
VO :Good morning

VO: You going to work for ABC?
ME: Yes sir

VO: How much will be your salary?
ME: Told

VO: For which position?
ME: Told

VO: You visa is approved
ME: Thank you sir and left.

Don't over react if you are selected, just say a thank you with smile and leave. Next day i got a mail that you passport has been picked up from embassy.

It was just a cake walk for me.

Thanks

H1B stamping @ Delhi - Admin processing without any slip
I had H1B interview at Delhi on 30th Nov, it was for extension after staying 3 years in US. I attended interview with my family.. Interview was good and VO did not give me any slip and told me that my application with go under admin processing and I can get my passport in next 2-3 weeks and VO kept all passports and I 797.

But till now the CEAC website shows "Admin processing" and date was changed once from 30th Nov to 3rd Dec 2015.

USTravelDocs website shows "There is no status available for this passport number".

Anyone had same experience?
Senior people any thoughts/idea when can I get passports?

Thanks
