Hi all
My H1b RFE docs got approved on 11th Dec( after 3 monhts of wait!!!).
How long does it take to receive the docs from USCIS.
And also could anyone let me know whats the next available date for stamping in Chennai?
Is it necessary that people from Bangalore should go to Chennai for stamping? Will the consolate information be written in i797? Can we choose Hyderabad?
Request for answers on all my questions!!

How to edit DS 160 after submission
Hi Everyone,
I have scheduled my OFC and Consular interview on DEC 28th and 29th.Yesterday I came to know that I did one blunder entered wrong address in DS 160 for my work location in US which differs from the address in LCA.
Can you guys please let me know the feasibility on how to change the address in DA 160 after submission(signed and submitted not able to access it).
Is it possible to change it in consulate on the day of the interview?
Guys who have come across this problem please respond

Hi,
I have attended my Visa interview on Dec 10th at Hyd consulate. During the interview VO asked only three questions like who is your sponsor, who is you end client, and from how many year you are working with your employer. I have answered all the questions and the VO took my Passport and a copy of my i797 and said my visa has been approved.
But today I have received a call saying I have to retake my visa interview. I inquired about the reason but they said the VO wants to retake my interview.
Please share your thoughts and inputs. It would help me a lot. Thanks in advance.

received I797B after one year of 221g issued
Hi,
I have attended visa interview on 10th Dec 2014 and given 221g to provide employer tax details and existing product details as mine is in house project. My Employer submitted required docs in week time. Exactly 1 year, i have received mail form USCIS that collect your documents and received my original I797B.
what does it mean?

hi gave my interview on 20th November. Got a 221g. Got a call to attend the interview on 27th November another 221g. Submitted the documents on 30th November. Till yesterday was able to track my passport. but am unable to do so today. If someone can shed some light or help me in any ways.

My experience:
I have given interview on 20th Nov. VO asked simple questions. he asked me location of my client as I am going to work for EC model. I told ABC city . He told me , there is no office in ABC city. He searched for INC site for my client so he got confused instead of LLC of my client. He told me to wait for some time. I will call you, Again I got call for new counter, An Indian lady asked me basic questions and took my I797,LCA,I129,Project description, Employer and Client agreement,Client offer letter and also Passport.
Got call for same counter. Vo told me that sorry for waiting . He has given 221 g green form and marked AP and told that Your visa will take time.
I wished VO sir happy weekend and left the counter.
Now Status:
Administrative Processing
Application ID or Case Number:
Case Creation Date: 19-Nov-2015
Status Updated Date: 20-Nov-2015
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.
As My interview was on 20 so it was last updated on 20.

H1B Data mismatch issue
Hi All,
I am having below confusion with my petition, and request clarification..
While filing petition, my client was YYYY and LCA was obtained with details of ZZZ..
Soon after, my client split into two groups and i am now working for separated company XYZ and all support documents are obtained with client's new name XYZ.
So, i am now confused on how to handle this/which details i should produce in visa interview.. Can someone throw light..

Anyone attended h1b interview on 8th December Mumbai consulate?
Hi I attended h1 b interview at Mumbai consulate on 8th December. My visa got approved and VO told me I will get it in 3 days. I checked the status it is still showing administrative process. Did anyone attended on or after 8th December at Mumbai consulate and got your passport back with stamping?

H1B interview exp-Dec 2015
I greeted the Visa Officer and handed over the Passport and the I-797 to him.
VO – Whom do you work for?
Me- said my Employer’s name (only)
VO-Who is the client you shall work for?
Me – There is no client, the petitioner is XX and I shall be working on an internal project.
VO – Where shall you be going in the US
Me – City and State
VO – Can you tell me something about the internal project that you shall be working on?
Me – I shall be participating in all phases of the SDLC starting from requirements analysis,design….
VO – Interrupted me ….No please specifically tell me about the product you shall be working on.
Me – I got extremely nervous here , I guess the VOs tone made me more nervous.I told him” We are building a product in the informatica product suite, that shall read data from an application databse and load the data in the cloud” (just said this line , although I could have carried on explaining but I decided to stop at this point)
There was a pause of 2 seconds.As though the VO wanted to hear more, but I decided not to explain un-necessarily unless required.
VO – Your visa is approved sir.
Me – I stood there for some white receipt, I had read about in journals on internet.But he didn;t give me any.I had received the rights pamphlet outside.
VO – Your Visa is approved sir, have a nice day.
Me-Thank you.
I came out of the embassy and didn’t stop for the courier services. Was too excited to stop.
