Me:Ya, sure

VO:how long you have been working with TATA?

VO:who is your client

Me:Its XX Financials, Its a financial and advisory company

VO:Can I have your petition

Me:Hand it over to her

VO:what is ur degree qualification

This is very improtant question as one of the guy infront me confused her with master degree. He did not tell the that he has 3 year of bachelor and 3 years or master degree. She was not happy with him and gave pink slip to get more info.

VO: how many years of degree is this?

VO:where are going to ?

Me:I will be going to XX,STATE

VO:what wil do there

Me:<VERY IMP QUESTION> Told my role and responsibilties briefly as the details mentioned in petition(You should strict to petition). She was looking at petition whethere they matching or not!!

VO:what is ur salary

Me:XX at offshore(in indian rupees) & It would be YY at onsite(In USD per annum)

And then she verified my LCA for salary .

VO: Then she gave me white pamplet and said, your visa is approved. Your passport will be delivered within 7 bussiness days. Have a nice day!!

My Wife went for H4 stamping and she got 221(g). Mumbai consulate asked for different company related documents like tax returns and list of all employees and their visa status, etc.

My employer refused to provide any company related documents. So I'm thinking about changing my employer.

My question is will that affect on my wife's H4. She has to reappear for visa. What is the process for that? If she has to withdraw current petition then how should I withdraw petition.

Hi,
In all the below experiences I have been noticing about the White Pamphlet.

Where is it issued? In the consulate office or along with the petition documents?

H1 visa approved on 23rd Jan
Just a small return back from my side for this forum. I got my H1 visa approved today. The interview went as usual, but thought will share my mindset before interview. I had couple of thoughts that could have worked out negatively for me. My situation was I got my H1 change of status from L1 and I could not join the H1 sponsored company immediately as I had to serve notice period on L1 company. This was running through my mind till the interview as this transtition period of L1 to H1 is a grey area. Another concerned thought for me was while filling DS-160, didn't mention the job duties as per I-129 or employer letter. That forced me to fill another DS-160 before the interview and kept a copy with me just in case consular office asks the deviation in DS-160. Also I prepared all the required documents myself as I didn't have an attorney to do that, so had the slightest thought of uncertainity. Considering all these, my interview was ideally smooth, these are my questions :
CO : Good Morning
Me : Good Morning
CO : What is your job profile ?
Me : Explained 2 of my by-hearted I-129 job responsibilities
CO : What does company YYYY do ?
Me : Explained for less than half minute
CO : Are you travelling with dependent?
Me : No
CO : How long you are working for this employer?
Me : Last 2 months
CO : Can I have your payslips?
Me : Would you like to have W2 as well ?
CO : Sure
Me : Passed them through
CO: Your visa is approved and it will couriered and will be getting in a week
Me : Thanks. Have a nice day
