L-H transfer
I had Bio metric on 12/27 and interview on 12/30 scheduled for 9:45AM but we were allowed inside only about 11AM due to some technical issues.

By 12:30 i reached the counter and VO asked me the following :

VO : First time H1?
Me : Answered

VO : To whom you work for?
Me : Answered

VO : which location you are looking at?
Me : Answered

VO : Whats the salary?
Me : Answered

VO : How long you have been working with your employer?
Me : Answered

VO : You know your rights?
Me : Yes

VO kept typing something and pulled one blue slip and gave it to me (which explains that my visa is approved)

Later in 3 days time my passport was ready for pick up and i have collected the same.

Thanks for sharing experience through this group which has put me in ease and helped preparing myself for potential questions. Thanks everyone and wish you very all the best!!

H1, H4 extension experience
Below are the timelines with the experience so far

30-Dec-2019: I had given me and my dependents passports with the required documents at the Dropbox facility at New Delhi VAC.

31-Dec-2019: Status was changed to Admin Processing

6-Jan-2020: I got a mail that the passports are ready for pickup. But the status did not change. I picked up the passports on 7-Jan-2020 and there was a white slip with my passport to come for finger printing and interview at the New Delhi Embassy.

8-Jan-2020: I appeared for the interview. All the documents requested were shared with the interviewer. She was satisfied with the documentation but she gave me blue 221g slip saying that kindly mail these documents to the specified mail address for final review. Once review is complete we will mail you to submit your passports for stamping.

Since 8-Jan-2020, there is no change in status and it is in Admin Processing still..

I had a return flight on 19-Jan-2020 but I had to now cancel it. I was under the impression that 3 weeks will be enough for stamping but it has delayed my plans. I am more worried for my kids who have taken leaves from school and will miss the school exams.

Is anyone under similar situation.

2221G EVC-Chennai-EXPEDITED APPOINTMENT
Need help in getting clarification for interview ...working in EVC

I did change from client c1 (SC) to c2 (FL).

All the c2 client (FL) project work is done from cogniz's office located in (NC).

So my LCA is from NC

1. During the interview if they ask me about "End-client" should i say cogniz(NC) or end client(FL) ?

Option A -- Is it ideal to say Vendor (Congzi) is my end client [Sounds so fishy] ?
Option B --- If i say End-Client is in (FL) then my LCA will not match ?
Option C -- Give a long explanation to 1 wrd que [Suicide]. My end-client is FL "BUT" i work from cogniz office in NC
Needs answers ..urgent ..going to Chennai loc for emergency in India Expedited Appointment(48hr)

I know if i screw up will get 221g for no reason

Interviewed at Hyd Consulate on 7th Jan. VO issued a 221G white Slip with second option selected. with passport returned, LCA and Client letter retained.

Now, case updated on Jan 14th and again updated on Jan 16th. Status now showing as issued. Could anyone help me, what exactly issued means and if my case is approved how many days they take to send a request email to submit my passport. Thank you in advance for your comments. My case might be helpful to other friends who are in same situation.

H-1B administrative processing
I gave my visa interview at US Consulate, Hyderabad on 30th December, 2019. I was given 221(g) which said administrative processing.
I have been tracking my case status and it hasn't updated yet. The case update date was still 30th December, 2019. How long do they take to complete administrative processing? Is there a way to expedite this processing? I have my return flight scheduled on Feb 2nd, 2020 and was wondering if I will get any update before that.

Chennai US Visa Appointment Dates Unavailable for April 2020
Hi All,

We are planning to travel to India in April and I am planning to get a Visa appointment date for sometime in the first week of April. But i do not see dates (either for OFC or Consular) for April in Chennai.
Do i need to wait a little longer for it to open up?
Has it been already booked? (highly doubt)
Has anyone encountered such an issue?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
