New H1-B wanting to move to Green Card
I have just been approved for a H1-B with my new company. I had a H1-B from my old company and got it transferred to this company. I would like to apply for a green card with this new company.

Is it true i have to wait aand work a year at this new company before being permitted to apply for the GC?

What forms should i submit considering I am legal for the next 3 years anyways.

Please do not deal with WWICS,canada. Their fees is very high but their service stinks. I had one of the worst experiences of my life with them. Trust me you dont want to have anything to do with them. I was anxious about applying for a greencard and was looking for well established company who have done the greencard process so many times that it had become a routine process for them. They messed it up so many times that INS returned my papers many times. When I asked them apply for my advance parole they delayed and dragged their leg on it and sent it to wrong center that I could not go to India for my own wedding.

On Oct 5, my online status check tells me that an RFE has been mailed for my I-756 and I-131 but NOT so far for my 1-140. This is 95 days after concurrently filing 140/756/131/485. Does this mean that the RFE is only related to my 765 and that the 140 is so far okay? Could this mean that the RFE is perhaps a simple one, not one raising any complicated questions about the 140? I need my EAD asap and am anxious to resolve this.

fingerprinting and I-140
my I-140+485 was applied on Feb04 and I-140 is still pending. However I recently got appt letters for fingerprinting.
My question is .. will this FP be valid given that a decision on I-140 has still not been made? Or do u think I will need to do FP again.
thanks

Applied for i-140 in 8/2002 based on EB2 exceptional ability. Received 4 RFE, yes FOUR.

RFE 1 asked for details about job.
RFE 2 asked for proof of exceptional ability
RFE 3 asked for financial info for company and beneficiary
RFE 4 asked AGAIN for proof of exceptional ability, response received by CSC on 3/17/2004

Tired of waiting, its been 2 and a half years for the I-140 and still no decision made.
